CNY mood

GonG Xi Fa Chai~~~

I'm so in the holiday mood~~ My relatives from singapore came down on the eve of CNY and for the past few days, we were all preoccupied playing wii, and playing more wii. LOL~

Wii~
Wii is the word which brings a sparkle to my little nephew's eyes.
When my mum asked him,
"You wanna go back to our place to play some wii?"

He puts up this little cheeky smile, and without saying yes, we all know what he means.
Once he gets to my house, he bathes ASAP, and seats himself in front of the tv, and gets ready for some Wii action. LOL~

And being the youthful me, I accompanied him in playing wii, and half the time, i look like i'm praying to "Ti Gong" i.e shaking the wii remote up and down exactly the way you go to the temple to get those little sticks with numbers. LOL~

Anyways, the highlight has gotta be shopping at times square. Shopping in times square is always tempting. So many RM25 only shops, then there's even RM10 only shops. ^^

I am serious. It's so tempting, that my cousin sister bought 4 dresses, 1 blouse, 3 bags. LOL~

I'm gonna go out soon, hehe...I should be finalising my cancer report, but....the holiday mood has gotten onto me. Not to mention an addiction towards the well-known TVB drama Gem of Life~~

Btw, for laughter, I was watching this Mandarin movie called "Mei Lan Feng" the famous opera singer. And the subtitles sucked like hell. For example,

Ping Ping An An = Flat Flat Anne Anne
Wei (hello when on the phone) = Feed

Yes, the amazing translation of a not so original DVD! *cheers to that* LOL

Okies, to end this post, lemme give u something ANG ANG~~~

Pineapple tarts...

Pineapple = Ong Lai

Ong means ong lah~~ LOL...

Being the superstitious feng shui believer I am, no lah, jz joking ;p (I don't believe in feng shui all that much) but my mum had bought ready-made pineapple jam this year. I had initially promised her that I would help her bake some cookies this CNY, but due to the overwhelming-last-minute-announcement on the BTN camp 2 weeks ago, my weekends were spent studying my-ass-off. *ahem* maybe I didn't study my ass off, but I was studying ma..no time to bake cookies wat-so-ever.

So..this led to Peas baking Pineapple tarts today =) And btw, baking saves money. Pineapple tarts cost a lot if you purchase it outside you know!!!! LOL....

First, Peas googled for pineapple tart recipe. I got one recipe from Devi, but it's about the same =) So I used the one I got online.

Second, Peas copied down the recipe, and followed it bulat-bulat.
I got mine here but just in case you're lazy, here's the recipe for the pastry. The pastry is quite crispy =)

250 gm butter, cut into little squares
400 grams flour made up as follows:
300 gm wheat flour,
50 gm cornflour,
30 gm custard flour
20 gms milk powder
2 tablespoon of caster sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
2 egg yolks

Well, despite the fact that instructions told me to use this tool,
To make stripes like this....

I didn't. Not because I didn't have the tool, but simply because when I tried doing so, the pastry broke into pieces. It literally crumbled even before I could wrap the jam around it = ='' I only made 3 non-broken stripes, and it came out really crispy. But I was lazy, so I used my own method. Peas flattened the pastry, and cut the pastry into slices, one by one. And that was repeated till I finally finished using the 400g of pastry, and completed baking more than 100 pieces of "ong lai" tarts.

The jam and the pastry I made.

The first 2 trays I made^^

Bottled up "ong lais"

As I wanted to blog about my pineappple tarts, some of the tarts were still inside the oven, and 7 tarts ended up like this. = =''
Noo...it looked really bad, but it tasted real nice. Really crispy!! LOL...even the edges of the pineapple jam was crispy. LOL~~~~~~

Happy Chinese New Year

I'm finally done with my 3 class tests~~~

Whee~~~~~
It's time for the holidays and of course, Chinese New Year celebrations, though I've got a feeling that this years' one would be different. Why so?

My twin brothers won't be back home this year around cause they didn't get air tickets back to KL from Sabah. = ='' The air tickets were expensive, and they couldn't get the cheap air tickets back. *sigh*

So, this new year, I'll most likely bum at home alone... Poor me. Jz me and my cancer report, which is due after chinese new year....Jz jk;p

Anyways, Happy chinese new year to all^^

The curious case of benjamin button

I jz finished watching the movie and I loved it =)
It was very unique, it was romantic, it was touching, and it made me cry.
Though it was a very long movie, 2hours and 40 minutes long, the director brings u along the whole movie without a dull moment.

It's the story of Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) who gets younger instead of older.
From his birth, his love interests, how he got younger, and how he finally died as a little baby.

It's a strange thing, and medically I don't think it will ever happen. But it was a good movie =)
I loved how they actually made brad pitt look so old, and how cate blanchett became older. No wonder it got nominated in the gloden globe awards =) it really deserved it.

I give it a 8.5/10.
Go watch it~~~~~~~
(of course it's not out in malaysia yet, malaysia is just screening Juno = ='' Juno's like 2 years old!!! And then there's the news that malaysia might increase the ticket prices for non-malaysian made movies just to support the local move industry. Dumb right? RM15-20 for a movie ticket? Dream on!!! No one would go to cinemas if they really did that...LOL~)

Next movie on my list is Slumdog millionaire! I'm gonna watch it after my biopharm paper ^^ Now back to DD...go go go bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, benzodiazepines..bla bla bla~~~~~~

MY finger(s)

no, i am not going to show you the finger, because a good news is here!!!

BTN is postponed for us~~
That means that we'll have a more relaxed schedule for our class tests, and need not risk our marks for the class tests, need not skip classes. Although to be honest, i was willing to go for it after the weekend, cause i was thinking of where i could go for holidays during may if i completed my btn. cheap air asia flights~~~rofl~~~~

Anyways, I had wanted to post this quite some time ago after i heard this from devi.
What i am going to show u is this, my fingers.

Observation 1 : my fingers are without nail polish i.e i don't go for manicures nor pedicures, nor do i buff my fingernails.

observation 2: it's my right hand.

observation 3: my fourth finger is longer than my second finger.

Observation 3 is REALLY important! Why?
Because devi told me that if the fourth finger is longer than your second finger, on your right hand, your testosterones are more.

Hypothesis (taken from a website):
"So hold up your right hand and have a look at your second or index finger - the one that you point with. Then compare it to your fourth finger - the one next to the little finger. Here's the big question - which finger is longer, the fourth finger or the second finger?

Here's the deal for men. If the fourth finger of your right hand is longer than your second finger, then you are probably a super spunk, a stud-muffin, a testosterone tiger.

On average, you (with the longer fourth finger) will have a higher sperm count, a higher level of testosterone, and a lower incidence of germ cell failure -where you have a zero or very low sperm count. You'll probably be good fatherhood material.

But for women, it's the other way around. Women who had a fourth finger shorter than their second finger would have higher levels of various female hormones such as oestrogen, prolactin and luteinising hormone."

How so?
It's a proven research conducted that states that the genes related to our fingers are also the same genes for our hormones. so there.

Conclusion: i have more testosterones than a normal female and i am a "testosterone tiger". rawr to that!!!!

Bloody BTN

Although I am a scholar, sponsored by them, I still wanna complain about this!!!

1. BTN

BTN is a compulsory thing for all jpa scholars, some "psychological" camp for us. Basically, from wat i heard, it's pure brain washing. Dont get me wrong, it's not like i dont wanna go for it. But to have the camp stacked right in the middle of 3 freaking class tests is just pure craziness. It's madness. It's down right dumb.

We're supposed to go for the 5 days camp, from next wednesday and come back on Sunday evening. Rest. And sit for a freaking essay for Drug and Disease worth 30% of our marks on monday. Then on tues, sit for the 10% Pharmacy Practise, and a 25% paper for biopharm.

The original schedule was for us, to sit for PP next thursday. However, brilliant jpa says its complusory for us to go, and bla bla bla.

2. Bloody tailor.
The freaking blazer and formal pants are already costing us rm400. Well, if the government wanna "makan" our money, go ahead, but at least give us something decent which we can wear for ages, while looking good in it.

The tailor came today, and let me try this konon-nya SS sized blazer. I wore it. And i looked like some fat ass lady with no curves at all.

And he dared to say this:
"ah just right"

wtf. is he pure blind or did he look down on me?

I asked him to make it smaller, but no, he had to go on and on saying
"if you want to make it smaller, i can, but i'm afraid u wont be able to fit into it next time."

wtf. I wanted to scold him so much, esp after the btn thing was announced.

In the end, he gave in and said to make it smaller by half an inch. wtf. like hald an inch would make a difference. wtf.

I am cursing. this is bad. = =

I am planning to go to the tailor again when he comes back to measure the second batch of ppl. I'm going to act all bimbo-ish, and speak in english jz to piss his chinese speaking "secretary", and wear some super tight shirt and pants, jz so he knows i'm not bullshitting about my size. wtf.
I know I am so evil. POh yee said she wanted to slap me when i acted that out. lol.

I'm getting older, again.....

The fact that age is catching up on me is pretty obvious.

1. I forgot to bring back my towel from home back to vista. * T.T*
Solution - borrowed one from pohyee

2. I forgot to bring back my blanket from home back to vista. *double T.T*
Solution:
Day 1 - A 4m long saree given to me by suzy.
Day 2 - My extra bedsheet + a jacket

It's not fun losing brain cells. = =''

2008

It was a year with erm...lots of stuff. I wanted to post about it in the form of pictures, but hey, I've been too busy, lazy, and erm....well busy, doing more un-intellectual stuff.

So right now it's time to act intellectual, and start hitting the books. LoL~
Class tests are coming up in 2 weeks,
then it's gonna be chinese new year!!

Peas is lazy, I am, I really really am. But, when it comes to someone saying "things" about me....*evil laughter*

So, what "thing" did this person by the name of ken a.k.a vern xi say?

Read on (it's in chinese characters though ;p)

多得漂亮的四朵花,
和当中

*请各位先准备纸带*

最漂亮、
温柔、
大方、
性感的wenyi the emcee(补回给你了),

*ok, 要呕的可以呕了,不用给我面子*

*sigh* yes, i know i'm not very pretty, but don't la "bomb" me....*pouts*

Okay, i know the whole "acting-cute-thing" doesn't suit me, but nevertheless, i'm hoping that it will cover up for my matured looks. LOL :p

To sum up the end of 2008, I give you two pictures.

Since women live longer than men......

For the past few days, Peas have been going out with her brothers and their friends, who are two years younger than her. There are two particularly interesting things that happened.

Situation1 : We were out in the bookstore (Popular) since one of my brother's friend wanted to get a book. So automatically, I headed off to the magazines section, and took a copy of CLEO to read. (Peas wanted to read those Taiwanese magazines as their models are all so pretty, but unfortunately those were bind up *sigh*)

Friend A came up to me and said,

"Shouldn't you be reading something more intellectual?"

Peas: Because I realised that being intellectual doesn't really matter.

"No, i'm serious. You should be reading magazines like this *pointing to national geographic and some business magazine*. You'll learn a lot."

Peas: *sweats betul* Can I not be intellectual? What's the point of being so intellectual?

That statement, coming from a guy two years younger than me, made me feel like I was way less matured than him. What happened to the days when guys mature slower than females?? *LOL*

Situation 2: Peas forgot where we were, but we were out somewhere when the same friend said this,

"Do you know that it's proven that women live almost 5 years older then men?"

Peas: Yeah, I know. So?

"So, that means if you get a husband who's the same age as you. He'll most likely die earlier than you and you'll be alone in the end."

Peas: *LOL* So you want to find a girl who's older than you?

"I'm planning to get a girlfriend who's at least 5 years older than me so that we can die the same time. Then I needn't leave her alone. So those girls who look for men who are older than them are actually looking for trouble." *LOL*

Well well well...Peas was recently reminded of this incident again, and so she googled it. The most recent article that she found published in Time magazine online (wahh...soo intellectual :P) can be found here.

In the article, it was stated that women actually live 5 - 10 years longer than men!
And it's said that women live longer than men because:

1. Delay in the onset of diseases like Cardiovascular diseases in women, due to the iron-deficiency problem we have, thanks to our monthly periods.

2. Depression in older men i.e more stress.

3. Possibility to do with genetics as women have two X chromosomes.

And that is why women live longer. But 5 - 10 years sound like a long time, no?

So technically speaking, IF i don't wanna end up alone during my old withered days for too long, I should be getting a man at least 5 years younger than me! That means I should be looking for a guy that is.....years old. (Age of the possible male shall not be reveal as that will reveal mine as well. LOL~~~~)

Btw, this is a friendly reminder to my fellow batchmates,

Girls, if you're interested in a younger male, fret not, it's actually beneficial, you'll keep each other's company for a longer time! LOL~~~

Guys, if you're interested in an older female, that's so good of you, you'll be her knight in shining armour even though you're old! LOL~~~~~

Mini-updates

Holidays week 1

Peas initially started off the weekends by doing her posology and case law reports for Pharmacy Practice 2. Mission accomplished. One day per report = 2 days spent.

Peas wanted to study for Pharmacy Practice 2 for her coming class test mid January. Started off with the module guide given. Tough luck. Too many words. Too many mindless and uninteresting stuff. Mission to cover the module guide within 3 days failed miserably.

In between the desire to study, was the desire to chill and have fun.
Ultimately, desire to have fun > desire to study.
Thus, Peas spent her days ,

clicking on facebook playing mindless games like Elven Blood +
watching anime +
doing some IMU Ball related stuff +
cooking lunch +

going out
little pressies i made for my friends...i left the red wrapper back in uni so i had to resort to a diff wrapper. Peas like the red one coz it has the names of ALL the rain deers. Everytime Peas sees the red wrapper, she'll go

" Rudolf the red-nose raindeer......" *LOL*

And Peas likey this picture, coz the flashes of light feels "cool".

And on christmas day itself, Peas did something even more meaningful. Peas went to PJ to listen to a dhamma talk by Ajahn Brahm ^^

So that's all from Peas ^^

CAL session...

CAL session means Computer Assisted Learning session.

Yes. We, students in IMU have a session where we "study" using computers online. Though it sounds tech-savvy and all, it isn't (or at least i think it isn't).

Usually CAL sessions are short i.e plus minus one hour per session, depending on how long the online questions were.

And unfortunately for me and my fellow group C and D members, we had Mr Keivan as our lecturer-in-charge today. When he let us know that he'll collect the attendance at 4 pm, most of us (if not all of us) were shocked.

A batch mate who sat opposite me kept saying no and asked me to voice out our dissatisfaction. And so I did.

"Sir, this is our 3rd CAL session for the subject and there are only 3 quizzes. Some of us have done two of it, and only need to finish off the 3rd quiz which only consists of 10 questions."

He said, "So what time do you think you can finish it?"

We said, "3".

And the next thing I knew, he bombarded us with a question regarding the first quiz.
" how many types of adverse drug reactions are there?"

Silence.

No one answered loud enough.

So, he asked another question,

"Give me an example of a type B reaction."

I flipped my module notes and was partially waving my hands frantically. That must have caught his attention and he said,

"What about the girl at the back?"

"toxic epidermal necro....lysis" I replied while peeping at my book.

"What does it mean?"

"err...something related to dead skin cells," I said after pondering.

"good...so name me a type c reaction without refering to your book."

I managed to flip the page and saw that it was a continuous kind of reaction.

But I didn't dare to reply immediately, as I began to chicken out.

I think he said something about "since your friend is unable to answer the question....."

"I will be back at 4."

silence.

Yes. It was literally silent, at least for several minutes before he finally left the venue. *sigh*

SO now i'm stuck in e-lab, blogging. LOL....

Insomnia

I can't sleep.

Peas was awake since 5am, and right now it's 6.19am. *sigh*
I am rather prone to getting insomnia, but that's usually during exams or stressful periods. And currently, I don't think I'm having either.

I was tempted to get more sleep (who doesn't?) but then the tossing and turning on the bed didn't help much, and neither did my thin blanket which doesn't really keep me warm in this cold weather. *sighs again as peas thinks of what will happen to her when she goes over to scotland*

Singapore Trip

.
.

I skipped one day of class just to go to Singapore with my mum and my bros.
Best of all, no one knew that I skipped class. (except my housemates I guess ;p)

I reached back a few hours ago, and met several of my batch mates while heading "home". When I asked one of them,
"What happened in class today?"
Siva said,

"Eh, you didn't come for class today?"

Well, duh, point proven that most of my batch mates are usually oblivious to their "surrounding", me included. LOL ;p

Anyways, interesting things that I saw in Singapore.

hmmm.....Buang Kok.....
Buang = Throw (in Malay)

So, when we saw this.....

Wah....Throw "Cock" Medical centre!!!!!!

But then, look closely to the left.
Buangkok is actually "man guo" i.e something like Bangkok or "man gu".
My brothers and I, albeit a bit "kampung"-like, discussed about the fact how such a weird interesting name came up and became the name of the whole area.

Anyhow, other stuff that which I experienced while in Singapore will be in pictures. I am a bad writer.

Yup, I went to Hooters in singapore with my relatives and my 9-year old nephew.

Just in case you wonder what is hooters famous for, let me give u a brief idea.
Their waitresses dress up in super mini short pants, where in certain cases you can see part of their lovely butts popping out AND that's not the only thing you'll see "popping" out.
Their waitresses also wear a white tank top, which reveals their cleavage.

Of course not ALL their waitresses have beautiful assets as those you get in a playboy magazine. But at least they are daring enough to wear the skimpy uniform, and go around serving people.
And, thankfully the waitress that served our table, had assets which were desirable ;p

Sadly enough, I didn't have the guts to take pictures of the waitresses in fear of offending their privacy. So, if you're interested in the "hooters" do google them up ;p

And to end the post, I love this picture.
It feels...nice ;p

I Love you soooo MUCH~~~

A year older, a year wiser?

Whee~ I'm officially 22 years old today!

Other than the fact that I'm actually aging, I'm in good health! (pimples, uneven skin tone and a little excess fat around my tummy area aren't included ;p)

I celebrated my birthday again @ Jusco with my friends. I was playing around with photoshop these past few days trying to design a nicer banner for the IMU Ball, but still ended up as lost as before. So I gave up on designing a banner and decided to do something easier: combining pictures.

Being 22 makes me feel....
wiser - No

prettier - No

Dumber - A little

Older - Definitely!

I do not wish to turn back time and return to being a little girl again, especially after looking at my kindergarden's graduation picture *LOL*

Anyways, it's a little late and I've gotta go to bed soon. Though I've got tons of things to complain about, esp about the IMU Ball. For instance,

How bored + stressed + annoyed I am when I actually sit down and brainstorm for ideas of the banner.

How pissed off I am when I think about the next ball meeting *urgh*

How I wish I hadn't became a committee for the IMU Ball. *darn the 21-year old me who decided that gaining a new experience in organising a ball would be fun and benificial*

I shall sign off and head for slumberland. Late nights don't do good for my pimply skin *sigh*

Lappie's back in action

I've fixed my lappie!!!!

I got my bro to re-format C drive using the windows cd. Once he was done, I was the person in action. Whee^^

I was sitting in front of the laptop and my other computer for almost the entire day doing:

reformatting D drive >

re-installing my laptop's drivers i.e the video, audio, wireless thingy >

re-installing my microsoft office >

re-installing my photoshop >

re-installing my mozilla + ares + antivirus + many many other stuff

I'm so freaking glad to have my laptop back cause this means I can :

1. get started on writing up my "article" on IMU Cup 2007 (due date: coming Thursday)
2. start designing my IMU Ball banner (due date : coming Saturday *wth*)

Anyways, that's all for now^^

Pre- Birthday celebration

I'm officially turning 22 next Monday the 1st of December 2009.
*ahem...it's actually a small reminder to all my friends to get my presents or wishes will do, just in case you forgot it's coming soon ;p*

Anyways, my housemates were super kind to have done a pre-birthday celebration for me on Tuesday^^ It was the day where we were throwing a barbecue session in which many of our batchmates were invited for as well. So, in other words, I had no idea that they were actually going to celebrate my birthday.

It all started with me and Brendan trying to fire up the barbecue set. Initially I thought Brendan would be of much help, but in the end, I was the one who got my hands dirty and successfully started off part of the fire^^ Yes, I was so successful in starting the fire that Brendan said this,

"wenyi, you're so man~~~ " ( in mandarin) *peas went = =''

The chicken looked like this...
Looks good right? We had marinated the chicken overnight with heinz barbecue sauce, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper.

Sadly, while we were halfway through barbecue-ing the chickens, the following happened.

Devi: They're going to fog vista.

We: *panicky* Save the chickens.
OMG, it's drizzling.

We started moving quickly to keep the chickens indoor, and since we couldn't barbecue anymore, we decided to fry the chickens. However, we received the following comments regarding the fried chicken:

It's so hard that even a dog won't eat it. *really?*
It tastes nice, but the meat is too tough. *sobs*
It feels like eating chewing gum. *sad-nye*

So, we ended up with many many half eaten chicken. It's all because the chicken meat which we purchased from Carrefour wasn't fresh. It was OLD chicken, which meat was TOUGH like hell.

SO, DON'T buy chicken meat from CARREFOUR, unless you're really sure it's a young chicken. (but how do you actually differentiate a young chicken from an old chicken? hmmmm.....)

We felt really bad, as the chicken which was intended as the main course ended up a failure. Thankfully, there were other food brought by my batchmates^^
sushi by jason kam, jason lim, chun kang and alvin.

Desserts by Jeannette, Chew Ning and Ling Wei *yummy*

Then, as I was in the midst of barbequeing some hotdogs, Shenyang a.k.a Carrots came in with my birthday cake^^
Yup, it was actually Raj's birthday. So raj's name was on the cake as well. Hehe...This is the second time I'm celebrating my birthday with Raj. It was in One U last year, and this time in Vista, and next year, it'll be in Scotland^^ Whee~~

After the "cake cutting ceremony", we had a quiz session, where both Raj and I were supposed to guess the names of my batchmates. Though I had difficulties in answering the questions, I beat Raj and won the "game". Cheers to me! LOL..

That's me, smiling stupidly during the quiz. LOL~

A group picture of all (except for chan sing, stella and dear devi)

Towards the end, Brendan, Irene and her housemates stayed back to help us out. Irene swept the floor while Brendan mopped.

Since we were ever grateful to them, I gave out a certificate to Brendan.Yup, pelajar contoh Brendan Khor Lin Yee telah dapat sijil daripada saya! Haha^^

As a wrap, thank you to all who came.
And to my housemates, Pohyee, renly, chin yeong and devi,
I LOVE YOU^^
And to dear Carrots,
I LOVE YOU TOO^^

Poor Laptop

My laptop is officially dead.

Dead because it got infected by a visiting virus which was carried by my unsuspecting thumbdrive. The thumbdrive had traveled to two computers in IMU.
1. In the SRC room.
2. In the IT department.

Reason of travel: To print out stuff for the IMU Ball.

Once i plugged it in, the whole laptop started lag like hell. Next, my anti-virus program keeps popping up an alert which tells me:

"Suspicious file detected in WINDOW/system32/.......... Action to be taken: Ignore or Delete"

Obviously I deleted the file. BUT another alert popped up, telling me to restart the laptop to let it scan the system files.

That whole cycle of scanning and restarting repeat itself since yesterday afternoon till today. Thus, I decided to shut down the laptop and let my dad fix it when I get back home this weekend.

Till then, I shall be hogging Pohyee's laptop to use. ;p

Birth and Baby Steps

History.....

We all learned in sejarah lessons back in secondary school that history is actually derived from two words;

History = His + Story

Hello...how come it cannot be her story? Why must if be his? This for one, is an example for chauvinism, the male ego which can be felt everywhere one goes. Oh well, at least nature is called Mother Nature and not Father Nature. LOL....

Back to my humble beginnings (fuyoh...I make myself sound like I'm some big-shot now. Pity I'm not. LOL...)
As I was saying, back to my humble beginnings...
I'm the first child in the family. Thus, that may be the main reason why my parents or my mum in particular actually put in the effort to decorate my very own baby book.

Along with the album, were:

1. My baby hair when I was 2-months old. (Yes..they shaved my head bald and kept my hair in the album. hehe^^)

2. A page stating all my vital stats when I was born. Vital stats means my baby weight not this>>> 34-24-36 (and btw, that's my dream vital stats, not my real one ;p) LOL^^

3. A page with all my first times.

Ladies and gentlemen,

This little baby above is or more accurately was me :)
I was born at 2 pm on the 1st of December 1986 which was a Monday.
My weight as a newborn was 3kg and I had a height of 36 centimeters.

I first smiled when I was 1 and a half months old, and first laughed 6 months later when I was 2 months old. I started to crawl when I was about 7 months old and my first walk on my own, without the baby pram, on March 1988 i.e about 1 year and 4 months old.

Then on September 1988 came my twin brothers.

The picture below shows me looking very much like a little boy, along with my two chubby looking brothers in 1989.

Then in 1990, when I was almost 4 years old, I went to Thailand along with my parents.
Guess which is me?

Highlight to see the answer >> The little girl in blue, standing in front of the banner.

Fast forward a few more years, little wenyi headed off for pre-school where this picture below is most likely the first performance she did. hehe..

Can't see me?
Well, I did look a LOT different back then.
Answer: The girl right next to the indian boy. If you can't see which is the indian boy, set the lighting of ur screen, or go get ur eyes checked ;p

Little wenyi was a shy girl. Wait, I still am shy. hehe...

Little wenyi is>>> The girl with the black shoes.

Then, before she graduated from kindergarden, she did another performance.

At home, she's a cheerful little girl who loved playing with her two younger brothers.

Don't be fooled by my ahem "cute" pictures of little wenyi cause little wenyi can be fierce as well.

Once I was in primary school, I started wearing spectacles.
As you can see from the picture below, I dislike wearing specs.

Especially since the olden day sepctacles are wide framed and made me look, well, weird.

That's all for now, pictures of my primary and secondary school is scarce. It's almost like finding water in the dessert, I only have that few pictures taken *sigh*
