Mini-updates

Holidays week 1

Peas initially started off the weekends by doing her posology and case law reports for Pharmacy Practice 2. Mission accomplished. One day per report = 2 days spent.

Peas wanted to study for Pharmacy Practice 2 for her coming class test mid January. Started off with the module guide given. Tough luck. Too many words. Too many mindless and uninteresting stuff. Mission to cover the module guide within 3 days failed miserably.

In between the desire to study, was the desire to chill and have fun.
Ultimately, desire to have fun > desire to study.
Thus, Peas spent her days ,

clicking on facebook playing mindless games like Elven Blood +
watching anime +
doing some IMU Ball related stuff +
cooking lunch +

going out
little pressies i made for my friends...i left the red wrapper back in uni so i had to resort to a diff wrapper. Peas like the red one coz it has the names of ALL the rain deers. Everytime Peas sees the red wrapper, she'll go

" Rudolf the red-nose raindeer......" *LOL*

And Peas likey this picture, coz the flashes of light feels "cool".

And on christmas day itself, Peas did something even more meaningful. Peas went to PJ to listen to a dhamma talk by Ajahn Brahm ^^

So that's all from Peas ^^

Singapore Trip

.
.

I skipped one day of class just to go to Singapore with my mum and my bros.
Best of all, no one knew that I skipped class. (except my housemates I guess ;p)

I reached back a few hours ago, and met several of my batch mates while heading "home". When I asked one of them,
"What happened in class today?"
Siva said,

"Eh, you didn't come for class today?"

Well, duh, point proven that most of my batch mates are usually oblivious to their "surrounding", me included. LOL ;p

Anyways, interesting things that I saw in Singapore.

hmmm.....Buang Kok.....
Buang = Throw (in Malay)

So, when we saw this.....

Wah....Throw "Cock" Medical centre!!!!!!

But then, look closely to the left.
Buangkok is actually "man guo" i.e something like Bangkok or "man gu".
My brothers and I, albeit a bit "kampung"-like, discussed about the fact how such a weird interesting name came up and became the name of the whole area.

Anyhow, other stuff that which I experienced while in Singapore will be in pictures. I am a bad writer.

Yup, I went to Hooters in singapore with my relatives and my 9-year old nephew.

Just in case you wonder what is hooters famous for, let me give u a brief idea.
Their waitresses dress up in super mini short pants, where in certain cases you can see part of their lovely butts popping out AND that's not the only thing you'll see "popping" out.
Their waitresses also wear a white tank top, which reveals their cleavage.

Of course not ALL their waitresses have beautiful assets as those you get in a playboy magazine. But at least they are daring enough to wear the skimpy uniform, and go around serving people.
And, thankfully the waitress that served our table, had assets which were desirable ;p

Sadly enough, I didn't have the guts to take pictures of the waitresses in fear of offending their privacy. So, if you're interested in the "hooters" do google them up ;p

And to end the post, I love this picture.
It feels...nice ;p

The Hulk 2~~

THANK YOU chin yeong for asking Kirk (a crazy and whacky friend from Incovar) out!

Hehe^^ why am I soooo thankful???

Because we (both chin yeong and I) got free passes to catch The Hulk 2's screening premier @ Cineleisure!! Whee^^ *happy and excited*

Anyways, we also meet up with Loh (also another whacky friend from Incovar), and the four of us had a great time^^

Okies, back to The Hulk~~~

Wakaka~ Let's see some pictures of the free passes we got,
Cool eh?? Hehe^^ (Do note the Hall Number?? The WHOLE Cineleisure was used for the premier screening of the Movie!! LOL~ Thank goodness I didn't enter the wrong hall ;p)

Happy me with the pass^^ (ya, my leg was on the seat of the car, sorry kirk but my legs are clean ;p)
Chinyeong with her pass^^ *so sweet*

Once we reached Cineleisure, Cy and I headed of to have our meal at a place with cool retro stuff hanging on their walls.
Then, the food came. We had....
This >> errr...(I forgot the fancy name, again!!! *sigh* but it was chicken breast grilled to perfection with herbs, and with creamy cheese and mashed potatoes~ Yummy^^)
Then, our dessert^^ *Nyam* Friday's is the best!! (oh shoot, I realised I forgot to take back the receipt~~~ Gyahhhh...... I keep forgetting to keep the receipt so that I can get a discount on my next visit *sigh*)

Anyways, The Hulk is INTERESTING~

In this second installment of the movie, they explained a lot of things which were unanswered in the first movie. I remember in the first movie, I would be wondering to myself, how come Hulk's pants doesn't tear apart when he transforms? How come the shirt doesn't tear apart?? (well yea, it's obscene to show a guy's-you-know-what around in a fighting scene *ewwww*)

Well, it's answered in this second movie. Hulk got super-stretchable pants! (but forgot to get super stretchable shirt;p Then again, you must show some muscles to scare the enemy! Hahahaha^^)

And, in this movie, Liv Tyler gets a personal scene with the Hulk, where the Hulk goes,
"I can't do this. I can't get too excited."

LOL~ Go watch the movie for yourself before you set your imagination wild on fire ;p

Also, in this movie, you'll get loads of cool action scenes where you'll see:

1. Uber cool movements of a human diaphragm. (what's a diaphragm?? Go watch the movie, Hulk's anger management-sifu will show you! Hehe^^)

2. Hulk says: "Hulk, stomp!"

3. Hulk claps his hands and a super-strong-wind blows away ALL the fire! (like Monkey's God super big fan ;p)

4. Liv Tyler in a white blouse which gets wet???? (ermm...I couldn't think of another one ;p)

5. Tony Stark appears in the movie!!!! Who is Tony Stark???
Ironman lah~~ So cool^^ I love Tony Stark^^ (sorry carrots, peas like ironman ;p)

Although the cinema hall which I entered had some minor problems during the first 30 minutes of the movie, I greatly enjoyed myself^^

Dome~

I went out with my ex-colleague, Jacq and her friend Adrena, for shopping @ Jusco, Bukit Tinggi (that was my third time going to Jusco within the past 4 days. LOL~) Well, Jusco is barely even more than 10 minutes away from my house. Places like Midvalley, or Times Square is way tooo far from Klang, and the petrol hike only made them EVEN further!!!

Anyways, we had lunch @ Dome, and it was my first time having a meal there.
Verdict: The food was Great^^

I had this - Erm..the dish had a fancy name, which I forgot *sigh* but yeah, it's seafood carbonara.
The portion is large!! See the three mussels there? Hehe^^ and look at the amount of creamy sauce^^ It was yummy~~

This is the beef lasagna!

The catch of the day - dory fish fillet with butter rice~

And coincidently, I had an sms-voucher from maxis which enabled me to purchase any regular coffee drink for only RM3~ Coffee Latte~ RM3!!!

Cafe Mocha~ Also RM 3^^ hehe^^

Hehe, so that was the yummy food I had with Jacq and Adrena^^
Btw, noticed the lack of my own pictures lately? *sigh* To be really honest, I am having a severe acne outbreak right now *double sigh* Thus explaining the lack of my own pictures. I have went to see a skin specialist, but the medication needs time, like a few weeks (6-8weeks) before the effects can be seen = = and worse still, it's making my skin "purge" out the oil for the initial 1 week of usage.

I also think that the outbreak might be caused by my hormone problems. Yea, I may have hormone problems, remember me saying that I have PCOS?

What's PCOS?

Polycystic ovarian syndrome lah~ go google it.
As I have mentioned, the symptoms of PCOS includes
- obesity
- acne
-hormonal imbalance

Yea, I do sound bitter, but I am trying hard to cope with it. The emotional problems of a person who has acne can be...erm...hard to cope with. This is the second time I had such a severe skin problem, the last time was in 2004, right after my national service stint, where my period went missing in action for 3 months plus. This time around my period went MIA for almost 4 months, so yea, I am imagining to myself that my body is trying to purge out all the toxins *sigh*

Previously, if anyone complains to me about their ONE and only pimple on their face, I would get cheesed off. I still do get pissed off when people complain about a pimple, when their skin is almost flawless, but I understand that people love to complain, so at least I won't take it to myself personally.

Last time (I mean a few years ago in 2004) I would cry myself to sleep while thinking of my pimples, and comparing myself to the others who have flawless skin around me. I made myself miserable. So, this time, I vow to myself to not let acne affect me! Go peas~ you can do it^^ (so try not to mention my skin problem in front of me all of a sudden, if I am not prepared for it, I may just breakdown. LOL ;p)

The research that I do....

Yes, let us all talk about the research that Peas does during her holidays, and what she has found out so far. She was never really interested in online forums, till the day she got introduced to Lowyat.net.

Peas had only intended to look for a cheap mobile phone to buy, but the more she lingered on the website, the deeper she got herself tangled in the invisible threads of the forum. After the first day, Peas was stuck in Lowyat's - Stuff for ladies section - forever I mean temporarily, it's like a phase I go through every now and then, last time I remember, I was hooked on some worm game, and then it was o2jam, then HumanPets.. (I suddenly realize that the internet is a bad bad place.. LOL... too much addiction going around)

Anyways, to share what Peas found out from Lowyat's amazing forum (and I've only visited one tiny section of the forum, apparently their Kopitiam section has loads of juicy news, but heck, I don't have the time to do so, I'm stuck with Prison Break right now, and that itself is another story. LOL^^) I've found...

1. Cheap online clothings from Taiwan.
There are MANY MANY people selling clothes from Taiwan and Korea online, and some have even started their own blogs, and website just to cater to this growing trend. As the story goes, Peas went around, browsing through MANY of these people, and Peas found THIS. (the cheapest seller which she could fine online) And this particular seller has a wide array of clothes to choose from, she has many albums in her Picasa Account (click here to see the albums). Though many of the pictures are showing the SAME design, at least you'll get a better picture of what u're interested in from all angles, and also a cute model to look at..LOL~

2. Cheap handphones
Peas found a few sellers with what she saw has the lowest price, and this is the FIRST seller,
this is the SECOND seller,
and this the THIRD seller.

3. Cheap digital cameras.
Peas didn't find this in Lowyat.net. I did bump into a few sellers with low prices in Lowyat's forum, but then I did further research, and bumped into Lelong.com where I found Miyamondo.com. It has, by far, the lowest price for digital camera that I have seen.

4. Cheap coloured contact lens.
Haha..Peas have always wanted to get coloured contact lenses, because she thinks it's really nice. She has seen girls with brown lenses, and she think it's absolutely beautiful. Thus, a desire to own a pair of her own started brewing since then. Finally, Peas found a cheap source on Lowyat.net. LOL. It's only rm70 per pair, and each pair can be of different power (without astig) and each pair is able to last ONE year (at least so they claim.) When Peas told Cucu about her plans, she told peas that there are rumours that coloured contact lenses aren't proven to be safe, or something like that. Peas was shocked, and did some more research on the manufacturer's of the Geo Angel Contact lenses she wanted to buy, and found out that the manufacturer is a Korean company called GeoMedical. Though Peas can't read korean, once she saw the FDA and ISO certificate logo on their website (she sighed with relief). ROFL...

So, that is all that peas have found out from her "researches". Peas does not encourage people to buy online (although she has purchased a mask from a seller in Lowyat, and has already paid for her coloured contact lenses ;p) simply because buying online, she learned, can be very addictive because you don't see the money going out. LOL~

Holidays~

Finally~ the holidays are here~~ whee^^ so happy~

Directly after my exams, I rushed back and packed all my stuff, left Vista around 12.30pm,
and took the train (both lrt and ktm) all the way back to Klang. Guess what time I arrived?
3pm!

the ride back from Bukit Jalil to Klang took me 2.5hours????? can you believe it???
This is all thanks to KTM. I have complained in my blog several time regarding the poor services they provide (I think I really should write to the papers to complain about it...it's about time, especially since it seems to be a hot topic in TheStar's metro section lately~ LOL~

And something extremely embarrassing happened on the ride back. I cried.
Why? I myself am not sure of what spurred my emotional outbreak, but I did. Meh..and I blame it on PMS again. (PMS stands for Pre/Present/Post Menstrual syndrome..thus making it applicable ANY time of the month!!! LOL~~)

Anyways, I was actually rushing back to Klang so that I can drive my mum and I all the way to LCCT to pick up my dad and my brothers who went for a trip in Thailand. Their arrival time was 2.45pm so I had intended to reach Klang around 2pm, and make it to the airport just on time.
However, due to my slow packing speed, and also the delay of the KTM, I couldn't.

Thus, I was left there feeling all miserable about myself, for not making it on time, worrying about how to make it on time, and when I told my mum that I wasn't able to make it on time, she had initially ask me to wait in KL central till she reaches home after going to LCCT. Maybe that was why I felt all miserable, and then I started crying, and all sorts of unwholesome thoughts came running into mind. Yup, a sudden whirl of sadness just took over.

Luckily my mum later on called to tell me that she'll wait for me, and thus I felt a little better. (Yes, I know I sound like a child, and it occurs to me now, that I am a child whenever I am with my parents. Meh. It's been some time since I cried. Suddenly I remember what one of my primary school teacher used to tell us when he would "rotan" us.
"Crying is good for the eyes. It cleanses it and thus you'll be able to see clearer."

LOL. Now that I think of it, I think crying does indeed does good for the eyes (except the part were your eyes get all swollen after crying). Haha...

Back to story, THE BLOODY KTM......
I feel tired talking about KTM already, everyone knows how BAD they are. Action speaks louder than words, and I think that KTM is the BEST living example of it. ROFL. Kononnya, cara yang paling cepat dan selesa untuk sampai ke destinasi anda.

full updates~

Now that I finally have time and motivation (sounds like I'm a writer huh? "SS" pretending to be a writer) LOL^^

note: SS = shiok sendiri

Anyways, back to the post-examination days right after I watched Alone in the cinema.

That Sat, we had the recycling campaign again. The only difference was there were less (or in fact much LESSER) manpower as many students were already back in their hometown.
Thankfully there weren't that many items to collect this time around.
And so, by noon we were done.

Next up, we( meaning me, renly, poe, and cucu) hitched a ride with Ray to Giant,Kelana Jaya.
This was mainly because we had a job interview there.
AND, one of out batch mate who is pretty close to Ray was coincidently working there as well.

The job which we went for was under YunNam and London Weight management.
They needed sales assistants to push the sales of their vouchers.

At first, I wasn't impressed. I had the impression that all these companies were gimmicks which cheated ppl's money, as the results weren't really 100% successful.

However, when the lady started talking about the pay. I think my eyes lit up that very instant. LOL^^

SADLY, till now she hasn't contacted me or my friends. *sobs*
So much for my plans of getting a job during the holidays to cover the expenses for rebonding my hair.

Since I'm not earning money this holidays, I think I'll save rebonding my hair for this year end.
As for my hair color (which is now a horrendous two tone; black vs bright brown)
I think I'll buy a cheap hair dye, and ask my friend to color it for me. Hahaha^^

Wow, it seems like i'm pretty long-winded.
So cut the crap and fast forward.

Job interview--> had a short video of myself taken and got a free Kit Kat --> went Subang ktm --> Reached KL sentral --> went times square and sungai wang --> reached vista --> watched some drama --> slept

SUN
woke up late--> brendan came to have his photos taken --> went to endah parade --> went to pwtc bus station

and was on the was from KL to Kuala Terengganu (KT)
Although the bus was a luxurious 3-seater bus, I didn't get much sleep as the seats were squeaking and jerking every single time the driver steps on his brakes. *sigh*

Anyways, we reached KT in one piece by day-break and managed to take some pictures at the resorts' s0-called-office in KT.
this shows how early we reached KT^^

group pic in front of the'office' candid shot

the proper group pic =)

and this is jason and i
(renly said we look like a couple cause we both wore our orientation t-shirt)
I still remember the exact words she said,
" you two look like a couple.
though jason isn't exactly extremely good-looking,
but you two look good together."

what the? @.@
