Crime Scene Investigation?

Spotted.

A purplish stain on the floor.

*eeeeekkkkkkkkk*

I know it looks like a scene from a horror movie.

And what's next?

Okay, I know how gross this looks.

So make a guess, what's the culprit??

I LOVE Kurt!!

Kurt who?New boyfriend?? If only that were true! LOL~

I think he's relatively unknown to most, but I'm pretty sure most of you have heard this song : Glee's Don't Stop Believing :)

Ever since I first heard this mash-up by of Glee's Don't Stop Believing on YouTube, I got more and more absorbed by, not the singer Sam Tsui, but more into KurtHugoSchneider.

Okay. This was the most decent picture of Kurt that I found via google, but I still think he's cute. Just look at this..
The dude at the bottom left. Doesn't he remind you of Jason Mraz? :P

Well yes, I don't deny that Sam's has got a great voice that could easily beat any of the kids in Glee hands down, but I can't help but to admire Kurt.

I think he's the brain behind all the works! Not only has he got the talent to mix and mash-up songs, he does a decent job in video-editing, and best of all, he can play musical instruments like the piano and the guitar!! * I have a soft spot for people who can play musical instruments because I am a total noob-head when it comes to music. LOL*

He's got loads of interesting videos and songs sung by Sam and his other friends, for instance this amazing acoustic version of Ke$ha's -Tik Tok. You MUST listen to this song, it's just amazing :)

Recently he did a mash-up that consists of

1. Enimem ft Rihanna - Love the way you lie
2. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
3. Taio Cruz - Dynamite

And tell you what, it ROCKS!!!! If you love it, great news! They are giving the song as a free mp3 :) [get the song here]

Enjoy the songs, and do support Kurt and Sam :)

I think these are the people who should be getting more recognition, instead of say..Justin Bieber? :p

XOXO,

Wen Yi

Gay Pride in Barcelona :P

I just saw this amusing video on Katy Perry's song: Peacock
And it is pretty funny. It stars a few men in thighs, dancing and miming to the song, and if you didn't even click the video, Peacock refers to their di*k. LOL~
Yes, I have a low standard of humour, I laugh at every little thing. LOL. So if it's not funny for you, then too bad lah~ :P

After watching the video, I was reminded of what my friends experienced while on our summer trip in Barcelona last June :)

We were walking to one of the main highlights of Barcelona: The Magic Fountain of Montjuic
when we saw this

Note: The bright yellow fountain on the left is the Magic Fountain, which changes colour and water patterns according to the music played. While on the right, was a great big stage booming loud music. And we saw foam being sprayed around, and so I got excited thinking it was an outdoor foam party for party-people to enjoy!!

So, we headed nearer to the stage, and used our cameras to zoom-in on the stage. And we got this image below:

Yes, a hot bod in undies. Eye-candy to most girls..but then we realized something amiss as we headed nearer the stage because there were more guys than girls.

It then hit us HARD when we saw this!

Yes...a gay couple making out.
My first time seeing a gay couple making out LIVE, right in front of me.
LOL. It was kinda akward so I didn't dare to stare.
But thankfully my friend got this picture, and thus the moment is immortalized forever! Haha~~

Well, we should have went to the exact spot the next day to catch the Gay Parade, but none of us knew about the Gay Parade until we left Barcelona *sigh* I would have loved to catch the Gay Parade just to see guys like this....
:P

Anyways, I don't think that gays should be judged. But it doesn't mean that I am asking guys to turn gay (there would be no guys left for me if all guys turned gay right? :P)

All I'm saying that gender is something that we're born with. If a guy is born on the earth to find that he loves the same gender, who are we to judge what's right or wrong. It's just a perception on what's acceptable or not. As long as the person is not harming another person, I don't think there should be any problems with gay-ism. In fact, I read this article a few days ago [link] about Malaysia's 1st gay church! *wow* The pastor is gay and surprisingly the church has been operating for three years. Impressive eh :)

And one more thing, I find it interesting that lesbians are more acceptable than gays.

Just because Britney and Madonna kissed on stage ages ago..

Just because Katy Perry sang "I kissed a girl" (Katy again?)

And just because Gossip Girl had this scene...

But okay I admit it, when girls kiss each other, it's HOT.
And I'm pretty sure both guys and girls agree on this point!
So Thank Goodness I'm a girl.
I get the privilege of kissing the same gender without being called a lesbian:P
But do NOTE that I'm not saying that I did either! So don't jump to conclusions okay? LOL

As a final note, I stumbled upon this picture below and found the tagline very "motivational" :P

ps: If you want more pictures and my story on what I experienced in Barcelona, do let me know :) Cause that'll motivate me to write about my Europe trip :) Thanks~

Just a random post

Well, after I nearly burned down the kitchen, my life is back to the normal days of bumming at home, doing nothing :P

Good news is that I will be starting work after Hari Raya :)
That means I have another 3-4 weeks of holidays :)

I am a little lazy to be updating about my daily mundane activities, so here's a picture which I took while I went down to KL last week.

I really love it <3
Maybe it's the black and white effect which gives it a tinge of sadness, or maybe it's just my love for the pouring rain :)

ps: I could really use a heavy shower today. The weather has been so HOT!!!

I'm not stuck at home. Finally!! LOL~

Lately, my current daily routine would be:

Sleep. Eat. Online. Eat. Sleep

Boring stuff indeed.
But today, I finally wasn't stuck at home the whole day!

For lunch I went to Empire Subang for the first time!! The place is kinda nice, but it feels a little small, but whadya expect from it being built on limited land right beside the PLUS highway? LOL..and I forgot to take pics :S

Then I got home, chilled for a bit and went down to Amcorp Mall, PJ for dinner with Jacqueline (my colleague back when I was working in AcNielsen, PJ) ^^. Was really happy to have meet up and talked crap with her! Haha. Once again, I forgot to take pics to feed my lovely blog despite my camera being in the bag all the time :S

So here's a pic to sum up my day out!

^_^ V

*ps: Thanks to the new nuffnangers who visited my blog. It means a lot to me :) *

Baby steps to start a journey of a million miles :)

Helloooooooooo people!!!

I'm finally back in Malaysia! In fact I've been back for 3 weeks now. After a hectic two weeks upon returning home (busy "lapor diri-ing" to JPA, SPA, KKM and the Pharmacy Board

+ going for Bon Odori

+ a drive down to Port Dickson for Ainul's Wedding

+ attending the American Boys Chorus show in KL (gawd look at my dark circles and eye bag = =)

+ meeting you with friends at MidValley

+ unpacking and tidying the room), I finally got more rest this week around. And now as I am entering the 4th week of returning to Malaysia, still "job-less" at the moment, I find myself with much free time :P

So I changed the whole outloook of my bloggie! (I forgot to take a pic of how my blog looks before this *sad* I think I've changed the skin of my blog a couple of times since I started blogging, but I never saved any pictures of it before. Meh. I should have kept a collection of the headers I designed as memories *sigh*)

Anyways, I have also decided not to call myself Peas anymore.

In case you didn't know, I'm about to start a loooooong story on how the name Peas came around and it will bore you, or maybe I might even bore myself. lol.

But the name all started almost 2 years ago when I just started to date my ex-bf. We used to call ourselves Peas and Carrots (after hearing Forrest Gump say something about peas and carrots being together).

When I was still with him back in Malaysia, I renamed my blog :
Peas on the run. (woots, the only header that I saved on my lappie^^)

Then right before I left for my final year in Scotland, I renamed my blog (again) as
Peas in Scotland.

Yes, you read right, ex-bf i.e past tense. Sad as it is, I've broken up with him for more than a year now, and I'm still single, while he moved on within 6 months of the break-up. But I still used the name Peas because I found it cute, but now I realize that it's not wise to use a nickname given by an ex-bf. Meh. Maybe that's why I'm still single. lol.

So, that's my supposedly long sad love story of how the name started and ended. So goodbye Peas. Sayonara and farewell~

As my life as a student ends, so does a new life as a working adult begin (in a few months time). I can't promise that I'll update my blog as frequent as it should be, but I will try :)

So say hello to Wene-ism!!!!

p.s: I've explained how wene-ism began at the sidebar, so go baca-lah, I malas nak type again :P

It's been awhile~

Peas is back from PP3 : Exemption exam, where'd EVERYONE is hoping really hard that they'll get exempted. But that requires a mark of 70 and above i.e we can only get 30 marks off for 5 prescriptions~~~~ *prays hard, lemme get exempted...please....pretty please....*

Anyways, it feels like awhile since I got in touch to the local news in Malaysia, so I went to the Star and saw this tagline.

Patriotism is a virtue for the beaches.

I was shocked. did it jz say patriotism is a virtue for the B*tches?

Amusing eh?
Alrights, that's all for now. Time to study for FMT~
I need a really "geng" filter so that i can retain all the data!!!
Better still, I wanna hv a SELECTIVE filter i.e one that can select the important data and retain them!!! So it's time to start pouring in the data for my filters to start working :)

Ironic

I'm very lazy, really. I told myself to study hard. Like really hard.

But somehow I ended up downloading songs using Kuguo (a programme that automatically gets the lyrics for songs and has a P2P downloading facility as well). That night, I stayed up till almost 3am, singing songs, and downloaded almost 100 songs @.@

The next night, I told myself, to off the laptop, which I did. But I got sleepy before 12pm, and slept off *sigh*

Yesterday night, the same thing happened, and I told myself to wake up early to study. But the cold Glasgow weather is too comfy for me to get up.. the nice warmth from the duvet was jz too much to handle. lolz.

And the bagpipes are still playing occasionally:)
I finally got a picture of them :)
This dude was sitting on ANOTHER dude with a bagpipe, right outside my window. lolz.
Ain't he cute? lolz~
I studied a bit, then it was time for dinner. We had this the other night :) so homely eh?
I am really thankful for the creators of ready-made powdered herbs that made the chicken possible :)

After dinner, it was time to study, but the sky was jz lovely..that I sat there admiring the sky instead of admiring the data given in FMT 1 and 2 *sigh*

As I was reading my FMT 2, I finally knew why I scored to little. More than half the things I studied were already gone *double sigh* My retention power is really bad.

It's like sieve analysis for particles.
Data from books are like particles.
Some ppl have filters which have SUPER small pore sizes, thus retaining all the particles.
Mine is as big as a fish net. All the particles feel right through the filter @.@

And Renly informed me that we're supposed to get a minimum of 50 for all 3 subjects to enter th year @.@ *prays really hard, lemme passs through please*

I am a lyricist

Devi darling inspired me to write this:

They say i flirt,
But I only talk,
I only told them,

gimme a lift,
and gimme gifts,
or else i'll walk,
and let u talk,
alone!

And I showed this to a few of my friends =)

See, he said it's NOT BAD^^
NOT BAD, means GOOD lah~
LOL, two negatives make a positive!!! Haha XD

ROFL...all praise the top lyricist--> Peas^^ *cheers*

Although one said~

He said I had too much time on my hands??? Maybe...
BUT, the main point is that he asked,
"Did u seriously write that yourself?"

*snicker* it actually implies is TOO GOOD to be written by me. ROFL.
copyrights to Peas! So, if Britney starts singing something like that, it's by ME ;p

and just to proof that I am the original lyricist:

1's are ORIGINALS!
Coming up with NEW ideas is NATURAL.

*yes, I am so happy and hyper today, I wonder why too. Hehe^^*

Photoshopping~

Peas was bored.

So she searched on you tube, for tutorials on how to change your hair color.
And the result of it is:

1. Blue-headed Peas! (scary?)

2. Green-headed Peas (pohyee's favourite colour, as well as to match the colour of the lovely flowers on my top^^)

3. Purple -headed Peas (something milder)
4. Blonde Peas + reddish brown headed Renly^^
(I decided we both should go re-dye our hair! ;p)
And now,
the original pic stolen from renly's facebook album.
Yes. I changed the lighting a bit, and added a border ;p

So, which hair colour suits me best?
a. blue
b. green
c. purple
d. blonde
e. none (they all look so badly editted *sobs*)

*Note*
Peas wanna learn how to do a makeover using photoshop! Thank all the good things in life that youtube has free photoshop tutorial videos!

*extra note*
I choose this pic, coz I like it lah..
But for the next time, I'm gonna use a solo pic of....poh yee?? (since she only dyed her hair once, it'd be fun to see what turns out >.<)

Since women live longer than men......

For the past few days, Peas have been going out with her brothers and their friends, who are two years younger than her. There are two particularly interesting things that happened.

Situation1 : We were out in the bookstore (Popular) since one of my brother's friend wanted to get a book. So automatically, I headed off to the magazines section, and took a copy of CLEO to read. (Peas wanted to read those Taiwanese magazines as their models are all so pretty, but unfortunately those were bind up *sigh*)

Friend A came up to me and said,

"Shouldn't you be reading something more intellectual?"

Peas: Because I realised that being intellectual doesn't really matter.

"No, i'm serious. You should be reading magazines like this *pointing to national geographic and some business magazine*. You'll learn a lot."

Peas: *sweats betul* Can I not be intellectual? What's the point of being so intellectual?

That statement, coming from a guy two years younger than me, made me feel like I was way less matured than him. What happened to the days when guys mature slower than females?? *LOL*

Situation 2: Peas forgot where we were, but we were out somewhere when the same friend said this,

"Do you know that it's proven that women live almost 5 years older then men?"

Peas: Yeah, I know. So?

"So, that means if you get a husband who's the same age as you. He'll most likely die earlier than you and you'll be alone in the end."

Peas: *LOL* So you want to find a girl who's older than you?

"I'm planning to get a girlfriend who's at least 5 years older than me so that we can die the same time. Then I needn't leave her alone. So those girls who look for men who are older than them are actually looking for trouble." *LOL*

Well well well...Peas was recently reminded of this incident again, and so she googled it. The most recent article that she found published in Time magazine online (wahh...soo intellectual :P) can be found here.

In the article, it was stated that women actually live 5 - 10 years longer than men!
And it's said that women live longer than men because:

1. Delay in the onset of diseases like Cardiovascular diseases in women, due to the iron-deficiency problem we have, thanks to our monthly periods.

2. Depression in older men i.e more stress.

3. Possibility to do with genetics as women have two X chromosomes.

And that is why women live longer. But 5 - 10 years sound like a long time, no?

So technically speaking, IF i don't wanna end up alone during my old withered days for too long, I should be getting a man at least 5 years younger than me! That means I should be looking for a guy that is.....years old. (Age of the possible male shall not be reveal as that will reveal mine as well. LOL~~~~)

Btw, this is a friendly reminder to my fellow batchmates,

Girls, if you're interested in a younger male, fret not, it's actually beneficial, you'll keep each other's company for a longer time! LOL~~~

Guys, if you're interested in an older female, that's so good of you, you'll be her knight in shining armour even though you're old! LOL~~~~~

Mini-updates

Holidays week 1

Peas initially started off the weekends by doing her posology and case law reports for Pharmacy Practice 2. Mission accomplished. One day per report = 2 days spent.

Peas wanted to study for Pharmacy Practice 2 for her coming class test mid January. Started off with the module guide given. Tough luck. Too many words. Too many mindless and uninteresting stuff. Mission to cover the module guide within 3 days failed miserably.

In between the desire to study, was the desire to chill and have fun.
Ultimately, desire to have fun > desire to study.
Thus, Peas spent her days ,

clicking on facebook playing mindless games like Elven Blood +
watching anime +
doing some IMU Ball related stuff +
cooking lunch +

going out
little pressies i made for my friends...i left the red wrapper back in uni so i had to resort to a diff wrapper. Peas like the red one coz it has the names of ALL the rain deers. Everytime Peas sees the red wrapper, she'll go

" Rudolf the red-nose raindeer......" *LOL*

And Peas likey this picture, coz the flashes of light feels "cool".

And on christmas day itself, Peas did something even more meaningful. Peas went to PJ to listen to a dhamma talk by Ajahn Brahm ^^

So that's all from Peas ^^

CAL session...

CAL session means Computer Assisted Learning session.

Yes. We, students in IMU have a session where we "study" using computers online. Though it sounds tech-savvy and all, it isn't (or at least i think it isn't).

Usually CAL sessions are short i.e plus minus one hour per session, depending on how long the online questions were.

And unfortunately for me and my fellow group C and D members, we had Mr Keivan as our lecturer-in-charge today. When he let us know that he'll collect the attendance at 4 pm, most of us (if not all of us) were shocked.

A batch mate who sat opposite me kept saying no and asked me to voice out our dissatisfaction. And so I did.

"Sir, this is our 3rd CAL session for the subject and there are only 3 quizzes. Some of us have done two of it, and only need to finish off the 3rd quiz which only consists of 10 questions."

He said, "So what time do you think you can finish it?"

We said, "3".

And the next thing I knew, he bombarded us with a question regarding the first quiz.
" how many types of adverse drug reactions are there?"

Silence.

No one answered loud enough.

So, he asked another question,

"Give me an example of a type B reaction."

I flipped my module notes and was partially waving my hands frantically. That must have caught his attention and he said,

"What about the girl at the back?"

"toxic epidermal necro....lysis" I replied while peeping at my book.

"What does it mean?"

"err...something related to dead skin cells," I said after pondering.

"good...so name me a type c reaction without refering to your book."

I managed to flip the page and saw that it was a continuous kind of reaction.

But I didn't dare to reply immediately, as I began to chicken out.

I think he said something about "since your friend is unable to answer the question....."

"I will be back at 4."

silence.

Yes. It was literally silent, at least for several minutes before he finally left the venue. *sigh*

SO now i'm stuck in e-lab, blogging. LOL....

Insomnia

I can't sleep.

Peas was awake since 5am, and right now it's 6.19am. *sigh*
I am rather prone to getting insomnia, but that's usually during exams or stressful periods. And currently, I don't think I'm having either.

I was tempted to get more sleep (who doesn't?) but then the tossing and turning on the bed didn't help much, and neither did my thin blanket which doesn't really keep me warm in this cold weather. *sighs again as peas thinks of what will happen to her when she goes over to scotland*

Politics in Malaysia

Peas have never really liked politics.
Even till today, I dislike politics.

Why do I dislike politics?
Let me ponder on this....

here goes.

1. We've got a prime minister who goes into "deep thought" every moment he gets. Pictures of him dozing off is abundant. For a laugh, go read kennysia's post on our beloved pm.

2. We've got ministers who are still living in the zaman kuno. They've got no insight, far-sight or whatever sight possible as they are blinded by their own mini world and even dare to give statements such as this to the media.

"taken from utusan malaysia online.

Tidak logik banding kemenangan Obama

PUTRAJAYA 7 Nov.

yea...analyse this and it's pretty obvious who's tak logik. Right?

Everything's changing in the world now. So just because we gained independence later by almost 200 years, does that mean our political scenario should be 180 years slower than them?

Just because we're a young country, does that mean our economy doesn't need to improve itself to the standards of larger and older established nations?

Just because we're only a Malaysia that is 51 years old, does that mean our people should have the mentality of those in rural areas?

The government has talk about change in mentality of the people, wanting people to emulate better nations.

So here's back at you,

"sorry lah, kita punya negara masih mentah la, so pemikiran I pun mentah aje"

I decided to keep that statement in black. So highlight it if you're interested ;p

All these talk on politics reminded me on this fact :
Peas will always support ChinYeong if she becomes a politician!

Oh yes....I can see Cucu as a politician... Yes, I do!!

Di luar realiti???

We'll never know what the future holds. Hehe ;p

Coffee

Peas would usually start her mornings with a cup of coffee, especially during the study break just to keep myself awake throughout the day without napping. Hehe...

But now that it's the holidays, I still need that daily dose of caffeine. *sigh*

Why sigh?

Cause coffee is getting expensive. *ROFL*
It really is.

Look, early this year 30sticks of Nescafe 3 in 1 regular is only rm8.99 on promotion, which made it only 30cents per stick. Nowadays, when there's promotion, each stick is slighty more expensive than 30cents.
(only my housemates will understand this "calculative" me, they could list down the lamest statements I've ever made on saving money. *ROFL*)

Anyways, back to story, not only that, when there's a price promotion on Nescafe, I seldom get to buy it. Meh. Most of the time I only see this sign on the shelves,

"Out of Stock"

Meh. Talk about wanting to save money. So instead of getting the regular Nescafe, I'll have to settle for other brands such as Old Town White Coffee which is wayyyy expensive. It's almost 50-60cents per stick. *sigh*

And once I got acquinted with the rich aroma of the white coffee, a regular nescafe tastes bland. Which in the end, starts a new cycle of Peas needing a more expensive coffee to drink. Meh.

As peas was bored today, she googled facts about coffee and found this few very interesting.

October 1st is official "Coffee Day" in Japan.
(whee...I wonder if they give out free coffee during that day..hehe)

Coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world (oil is the first.)
(Let's hope the price of coffee won't fluctuate and increase like oil, if not the malaysian government may come up with some silly policy like changing the price of coffee every month. ;p)

Scientists have discovered more than 800 different aromatic compounds in coffee.
(wah..doesn't that make coffee beans suitable for use in aromatherapy? LOL)

Black coffee with no sugar contains no calories.
(ceh..peas don't drink black coffee, that's why she's taking in more calories..*sigh*)

Caffeine, which is found in coffee, increases the effect of some painkillers, especially aspirin and paracetamol.
(hehe...this explains why you zhuan needs coffee and painkillers together ;p)

Peas hopes for the day when she shall stop drinking coffee on a daily basis. But then again, when coffee tastes this sinful heavenly...
it makes it hard to stop drinking, doesn't it?

Of He-she's..

To start off, having holidays is a bliss! Whee....

Sitting at home all day without doing anything!!!

Watching dramas,
eating,
sleeping,
and,
surfing the internet.

If that's not bliss (at least temporarily, before I enter semester 5 *crosses fingers* IF i manage to pass my papers ;p) what is?

Back to my story of he-shes or transvestites.

I watched "Fury" , the Thailand action movie, with my parents yesterday.
And I was actually searching for it's poster,
but when I typed in Fury, nothing related to the movie appeared.

Then I found out that it's actual title is Chocolate.
Ish. Why does the censorship board change the name?
And they always give movies weird malay titles,
if I'm not mistaken,
they translated fury >>>>>> ganas or garang?
(Anyways, it just sounded wrong ;p)

The story was bad.
Yes. Storyline was bad. B A D.
However, the action was good.
If you guys didn't know, the lead actress did all the stunts by herself.
And one of the stuntman fell 3 floors,
and I think broke his back.

The extent to which these guys go to make an action movie is plain unbelievable.
Unbelievable because they really get their asses kicked,
Unbelievable because they can really fight,
Unbelievable because I think it's not worth fighting away your life to make stunts look real.

Anyways, back to he-shes, there were LOADS of them in the movie.
They were wearing cheongsams!
Yes! Tight fitting cheongsams along with wigs, and make up and their fake boobs.
The he-shes in the movie were *ahem* less feminine.

I then began be reminded of the "tiger show" I watched when I was in Phuket, Thailand.
Those he-shes performing there, were much prettier than those in the movie.
I wonder why they didn't get them to be in the movie instead of these "ugly" ones.

*a light lights up*

Because, if they had used the prettier he-shes,
no one could have recognised them as he-shes. ROFL.

Anyways, the trend of he-she are growing even in Malaysia. *sigh*
And there are many girls who become boys. *sweats*
But that of course is another story.

I shall only talk about he-shes today.
Did you know that we, malaysia, actually have a group called

"paperdolls"

No. It's not pussycat dolls.
It's Paperdolls.

They're actually a group of performers, consisting mainly of he-shes.
Yes. And to my amazement, my mum told me that the group has been around since decades ago. When my mum was still in her 20s. So that makes the group almost 3 decades old!!!

Remember the dinner which I was supposed to go the day before PP1?
The paperdolls were performing at the dinner.

I googled, and finally found their picture in a blog.

They remind me of the ones I saw in Phuket.
But of course, in Phuket,
these he-she's wore MUCH more revealing clothes,
and they looked prettier, or maybe it was because I was sitting further from the stage. LOL.

I still remember that in Phuket,
one of them wore only a tight-fitting lacey see-through outfit, without a bra.
But of course the he-she's nipples were concealed lah~

Oh well, as more males become females,
it's only natural for females to become males,
to counter the unbalanced which is created.
Yin and yang. LOL.
The balance shall be maintained!!!
(as long as I don't turn into a male,
and my brothers and carrots do not turn into females)

Nevertheless, quite a few ppl have commented that carrots look feminine. LOL.

A friend of mine saw this picture of peas and carrots,

and said that I've got seductive eyes. ROFL.
and that carrots looks a little girly. LOL.

Anyways, I do admit that carrots does look a little feminine.
And if he were to be a female,
I think he'll beat hands down anytime at all. LOL.

I then imagined renly's and pohyee's boyfriends as females.

.....

....

...

..

.

LOL. They'll make the world's ugliest he-shes!!! ROFL...

I am then further reminded of orientation,
where the guys in our class crossed dressed.

The image of Alvin being an SM girl for the night is still vividly imprinted in my mind.
Just like homeopathy, where apparently the water molecules will "remember" the shapes of the active ingredients. ROFL.

Then, there was the pretty geisha by Chen.
OMG. And there was Siva and Wei Leun as belly dancers.
OMG!!!!

I shall go find the video and re-live the moment. HEHE~~~

But before I do so, lemme show you a picture.

This ladies and gentlemen,
is a he-she.

Yes. A he-she. But I shall call her a SHE because she's darn pretty.
I mean like, how on earth can she be a male????????

Yes. I am biased.
If you're a male, who became a female, but still look ugly, you're a he-she.

BUT,
If you're a male, who became a HOT female, you're officially a she.
(at least in my dictionary!)

Her nickname is Nong-poy.
Just google that, and you'll find loads of pictures of her,
and even her friendster and facebook account. LOL.

Meowsie~

I am not going for the dinner tmr *sobs*
My mum decided to bring my grandparents instead.
I had wanted to go tengok-tengok..
to go and be a busy-body,
and see how ppl decorate their ballrooms,
how ppl run their events, etc...

Oh well, my not going means more time to read PP1...
go peas go~~~

Aside from that as I was reading TheStar paper this morning,
(yes, I still read TheStar although it's politically biased,
simply because I like reading their section 2, where the comic strips are ;p)

In the paper, I saw a girl who looked a bit like DawnYang, posing with her book.
Sadly it wasn't her, but a 17 year old girl called MayZhee who published her second book.
(so geng..I wish I could write and publish a book too!!! haha..)

Okay...... maybe she doesn't look exactly like DawnYang,
but I can feel the "dawnyang-like aura".

I got a feeling that this MayZhee girl,
will most likely grow up to be an exact duplicate of DawnYang,
with the big black eyes, and fair smooth skin.
Plus, she'll most likely be sexy too. ;p
So cheers to Malaysia's own DawnYang! ;p

Don't ask me why I was reading these two blogs when I should be studying my PP1.
Don't remind me that my exam is less than 48 hours away.
Don't remind me that it's the semester where many seniors have attempted and failed.

I wanna talk about DawnYang and MayZhee, can I?

Oh well, I am. I don't care if it's free publicity for them.
But I find it amusing that both of them have anti-fan clubs.
A blog dedicated to bad-mouthing them.

DawnYang's anti blog is DawnWayang.
( I wonder whether they know what wayang means in malay...hmm..)

MayZhee's anti blog is IHateMayZhee.

Apparently DawnYang underwent surgery to make her forehead erm..prettier?
and some other surgeries, which I forgot.
I spent a few hours reading DawnWayang and found it entertaining.
They even have picture of DawnYang 10 years ago,
and how she got prettier and prettier after getting surgery.
And I started to wonder, maybe it's an anti-club, made by DawnYang herself to get more publicity? haha...I'm just saying la...

Now I wonder whether KenneySia has an anti-kennysia fan club ;p

Whee, back to mugging for PP1 ;p

Whee~

I am currently studying for my Pharmacy Practice 1 (PP1) paper.

It's supposedly the hardest paper to pass, most likely due to the higher passing mark of 50%
(while the other subjects only require a minimum of 40% to pass).

Anyways, I read the module guide for the very first time. Did a speed reading thing, and covered the whole book in a night.

Yes. You read right. One night. It's nothing to brag about because in the end,

What did I learn?

Other than the fact that pharmacists roles have changed, that health is affected by social-economic factors, and that we as pharmacy students, have to abide by the code of ethics and make sure our actions do not bring shame to the profession.

Sounds like common sense?
Yup. Peas concluded it is, and have decided to use her "wonderful" command or limited english vocabulary and "shock" the lecturers who mark my essays.

And hopefully, by doing so she'll pass the paper. *crosses-fingers*

Thus, leading to the ultimate action of Peas sitting in front of her laptop,
browsing through blogs written by her seniors (who are already in Scotland).

I see them having fun, although they didn't initially pass their PP3 paper.
And I read a hilarious blog by a senior,
telling his readers why they should vote him as a minister in Malaysia. LOL.
It was indeed fun to read blogs.

Okies, due to the slight tinge of guilt by my inner conscience; for not being a studious student, Peas shall now continue speed reading all the notes on PP3, which she has diligently accumulated from her senior(s).

Yes. Seniors with an (s).
My PP1 notes came from not one, but two seniors! LOL~

Drugs and Disease

I was looking through the past year papers for the Drug and Disease paper.

Guess what?

There was this section of about 20 questions,
which goes,

match the following statement with the appropriate drug/cell

they then provided a list of drugs/cells.

I was like @#%&. wth.

How would I be able to memorise all the freaking drugs?
I can tell u the name,
but hey,
I won't know what it's for,
whether it's soluble or not,
what contra-indications it has,
and many others.

Sheesh. I am starting to hate all the drugs.
