i baked cookies^^

Boredom at home can sometimes lead to wonders (although it usually causes me an insatiable hunger and desire to munch and munch till my belly bursts -_-'')

Well, for today, boredom brought wonders to me!

I baked cookies!
To be exact, I baked DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies!!

I swear its the truth!
My brothers came back from school and grabbed a bite of the cookies AFTER eating lunch.
And although they were already full, they gave thumbs up for my cookies!!

Yeah!! Cheers to me for baking wonderful cookies!

Unfortunately, I didnt take any pics of the process *sobs*
Actually, I dare not take any pics because I usually screw up the cookies I bake.
They usually end up super-hard and are hardly edible -_-''

Amazingly, I did a good job today!

Maybe it's the recipe, or maybe I'm getting to become a better cook

YeaH\(^.^)/

Rain is the MAN!

Finally, the night where Rain performed live in K.L arrived!!

Woohoo!!

Let's start of with a little details
before the concert started.

First a picture of me on the concert day^^

We got freebies from the sponsors of the concert;

1. Hotlink
- a poster

(ya..its the one where Rain has this 'not-so-cute' facial expression *sobs*)

- the gigantic hotlink hands to wave along to the music

which unfortunately wasn't fully utilized because no one can see 'the hand' in the dark

- a keychain which came free when I purchased a Rm10 reload card

2. LG
- free postcards with Rain looking super cute!!!!

3. Clear
- free shampoo samples

Well, its not much but..yea..at least its better than nothing.

Inside the stadium, things were pretty messy.
As my tickets are free ones from Carlsberg, I had to go to a special section right at the top of the stadium (3rd tier which means the furthest from the stage *sobs*)
Yeah..I was duped to believing my tickets were worth Rm402.

^the supposedly worth rm402 ticket..^

BUT, thankfully the seats were directly facing the stage and NOT at the side so the sound effect was fantastic!

Anyways, at 8.45pm, Rain came on stage to a horde of thousands of screaming fans!

Though I couldn't see Rain's face (unless I look at the screen),
BUT, at the very least, I got to see the whole picture of Rain performing with his dancers and the visual effects on and off-stage!!

Maybe I since its my first time attending a concert, I was totally blown away by the loud bass which resounded in the entire stadium. And since I was at the highest tier, I could feel the floor pounding with every beat of Rains' songs!
Sometimes the bass got so loud that I actually feared that the entire upper tier might fall off and crush the ppl beneath! LOL^^

To get a feel of what happened indoor,
[click here] to watch Rain performing 'It's Raining' from his 3rd album.

For every 2 or 3 songs, Rain would have a short break and chat with the audience. Well, its not exactly chatting, but yea..he was talking to the audience. And it was then that we all became his 'babies'!!

Ya..u heard me right! I'm Rain's baby!! (let's just ignore the fact that there were thousands of audience in the stadium, and imagine I'm the ONLY ONE there..LoL >.<) Not to mention, I got a kiss from Rain! (yea..a flying kiss XD wahahaha but a kiss nonetheless!)

Rain can really dance! His moves are slick and made every single girl in the stadium melt, because he is so HOT!!!
He danced to every single song and I salute his showmanship!
Imagine the fire on stage, the lightings, the laser beams, the multiple screens, and etc... I mean the props that they used on stage were amazing, the effect was breathtaking! And Rain's dance moves left the girls screaming (the screams went to a higher decibel when Rain does his Michel Jackson-like-crotch-holding-move! Wahahaha >.< ) Well, I have a few pictures of Rain taken from afar..*sobs*
^Rain putting on his sunglasses to the song Escaping the Sun^

^He's dancing!!^

Oh ya, let's not forget the moment where it rained in the indoor stadium! Actually I was a little disappointed because I had expected Rain to go topless on stage, and sadly that didn't happen *sobs* (and i blame the tight rules and regulation the gov impose on performers )

^pic is super-blur as its taken using my phone -_-'' ^
(In case you can't figure out the picture, the bright shining thing is where it rained on stage..)

So, I guess at the end of Rains' concert, all of us; the audiences, were left feeling high and happy ^^ (especially me) BUT i think some of them were left with half-deaf ears due to fanatic-high-pitched screaming from fans i.e those who sat around me. Hahaha^^
It's like sometimes when you get annoyed when someone talks loudly on the phone on the train. And in this case, I was the the annoying person screaming like mad and my high pitched voice caused much more damage to the ears..but it's a Rain concert, so please forgive my actions. Hehehe^^

Yeah~ Problems Solved!

I finally got my laptop fixed!

Both problems; virus & audio has been settled!!

How did I do it?

Problem 1 -Virus
Solution : Reboot the entire windows.

Yea...I had to deleted the entire windows and reboot the reformat the entire system. Well, of course my brother helped me out with this. My bros are such sweet creatures^^

Problem 2 - No Audio
Solution : Re-installing drivers and utilities after reformatting the system

Haha^^ I guess every dark cloud has a silver lining. Bcoz right after I reformat the whole windows, I had to re-install all the drivers for my laptop. And this time I did it without the help of my brother.
At first I thought the audio driver wouldn't load properly like the first time, BUT to my amazement, it did!!

I can't express my excitement when I heard the sound of a pop-up or the sound of windows shutting down! Lol..

So right now, my laptop is all good!
This time around, I'm extra careful as not do download anything from the net. All the programs that I need were all taken from my desktop at home and transfered to my laptop.

Now, the only thing my laptop lacks are games!!
GAMES!
But then again, games aren't really my thing. Unless its some RPG game like Final Fantasy..

Virus Alert!

Sheesh..it has only been a few days and my laptop is already infected. Guess I shouldn't have used my laptop to download stuff.
The next time i'll leave the downloading to my bros with our trustworthy desktop.

Although I have and antivirus running, I still got infected!!

Why?? Why oh why?

AND to make matters worse,
I wasnt able to delete the virus!
It has been running around my system since yesterday night, right after I had downloaded Rain's songs from some website -_-''

So my dad said the only thing to do is to reformat the whole system. Easily said,
BUT I don't even know how to reboot the system!!!
Let's pray my laptop will be fine.

Anyways, I broke up with the new guy 2 days ago.
It was the 2nd time I tried to break up with him and thankfully, this time it was successful.

Although I do like him, but due to my parents disagreement and 'emotional blackmail'
(they asked me to choose between them or the new guy, or something like that)
So, the obvious step I could take was to break up with the new guy.
But I must admit that I miss his calls, especially the long late night calls. Yet, it is wiser to break off before the feelings got any stronger.

After all, like my friend told me, parents will always be the one who loves you the most, so we should do our best not to cause them hurt and disappointment.

And now after I've broke up with him, I really got the time to think about what has been going on in my relationships.

Its hard to admit this, but I guess I'm really immature and selfish when it comes to relationships, I just wanna have fun and enjoy the moment(which is eerily similar to the love profile in the previous post)

Now, I think that what I have felt and done in the past few weeks after new year was a total mess.
My feelings towards the new guy was infatuation, not love.

Due to the infatuation that I felt, I hardened myself against feeling any emotions to my ex-boyfriend who is overseas, and caused him so much misery.
I am indeed the worst person in the world.

I still remember when I had my first boyfriend, I was so excited and told my friend about it. She congratulated and gave me an advice which goes,

LoVe iS NoT a GaMe

Back then, I thought I was fully aware of the meaning behind it. But now I realised that all this while I had played love like a game.
All this while my thoughts regarding relationships were,

If the relationship doesnt last, its ok.
But if it can continue, I would definately want it to make it last.

I guess that's a wrong thought to have in relationships. If a relationship isnt started to last, there's no point in starting it in the very first place, right?

It's Raining!!

I think everyone is well aware that korean-pop star RAIN(bi) himself is coming to Malaysia!!! And he'll be performing LIVE IN KL at the Bukit Jalil Stadium on the 27th of January 2007! (which is exactly 1 week away!!)

Gyaaah!! I jz cannot control my excitement! Ever since I watched the korean drama 'Full house', I have fallen in love with him!!
He's super kawaii in dramas, yet when he's on stage performing...He's HOT!! *drools*

I mean like look at his body! If that aint spelled H-O-T, you better get ur eyes checked!! BcozRain is THE MAN!! Wahahaha *evil laughter*

Anyways, this whole Rain-mania started while I was still working in Subang early this year where I found out that Bausch & Lomb was giving out free passes to watch Rain live in KL!

Well, being the usual me, anything that has the word 'free' definately catches my attention. AND, when its coined to RAIN!!! I was estatic! I knew there and then that I definately have to take part in the contest!!

But yea..there's a catch to it (after all, ntg in this world comes free)
To take part in the contest I had to purchase either a box of contact lens, or 2 bottles of Renu Multiplus Solution, and get attached the lids with an original receipt with the contest form.

So...I bought 2 boxes of lens and 2 bottles of multipurpose solution,
just to get 3 entry forms which = 3 chances for me to win a Rain concert ticket!

But it isnt that simple, I still had to put a creative signature to stand a chance to win! Since i'm not gifted in arts, my chances would be near to 0%...(at least I had thought so)

However, right now I have 2 tickets to watch RAIN!!!
Hehehe^^ I myself am going to the concert!!!

Instead of being all sad and gloomy when Rain performs in Malaysia, I'll actually be IN the stadium to hear Rain sing!!

I'll be there to actually witness his oh-so-hot-body with my own pair of eyes!!!

Whoa...that is jz amazing! I'm already so excited even before the concert !

I can imagine myself amidst the legions of fans in a packed stadium, screaming my lungs out till my voice would end up a off pitched the very next day.

Ohya, I forgot to mention that the 2 tickets I hv arent from the contest. They were given out when I asked my family to purchase 2 cartons of Carlsberg!!

Yup, my parents bought 2 cartons of beer jz to obtain those tickets!! But honestly, if it weren't for my friend, Meow, whom I knew when working in Subang, I wouldnt hv gotten those free tickets!

Anyways, regarding the Bausch & Lomb contest, someone called Miss T contacted and asked me to go to their office in Petaling Jaya to pick up my free ticket! (which means somehow my creativity is appreciated by some! Either that or very few ppl participated in the contest -_-'')

So all in all, I have 3 tickets!!

Woot!!!
Thus, my whole family would be there at the stadiumto catch Rain!!!
3 tickets = Me, mama & papa
Bros = 2 part-time helpers at the concert
Yea..my bros somehow got jobs to be usherers during the concert night. Hopefully they wouldn't be stuck backstage when Rain is performing! Hahaha...

When was the last time u rode a bicycle?

This whole day has been yet another unproductive day.
I spent more than half a day wondering in MidValley with my dad doing nothing in particular; we were mainly walking around without an purpose. But I guess that's what window-shopping is all about; walking around doing nothing. -_-''

Anyways, I met my supervisor, Angie ,who got me my previous job as a promoter in Subang Parade (i.e the promoter for the 'I want a car' Contest) while I was there.
Guess what??

Of all things, she said my dad looks young! Kinda like my older brother. Then she added, some ppl might also think that he's my sugar-daddy!

Wha?? @.@

DO i seriously look like that kinda girl?

Wait a minute, now that the term 'sugar-daddy' came into picture, I can't help but to get
reminded of some experiences that are related to this term.

Back when I was working in Osim, there's always this 'uncle' who would always come into the outlet for a 'free' massage. Being a regular 'customer' he would always talk to me, and ask a lot of questions. Simple conversation with an old guy is not a problem with me (as long as u dont bore me with grandma stories)

BUT this man keeps asking whether I need a lift back home after work. SAying things like,

'Wow, u work the whole day here? Then u dont go back and bathe?'

Now that I think of it, he seems like someone who fits the 'sugar-daddy' profile 100%!

1. He likes talking to 'sweet young things'
(like me, of course! =P)

2. He likes buying things for girls
( he bought me a drink once)

3. He phones girls jz to chat.
( ya..he calls me once in awhile eventhough I've already stopped working in Osim. And I cant even remember why I gave my number to him the 1st place)

4. He must definately be a dirty old man.

Now that I'm talking about D.O.M or Dirty Old Men, let me jz share a story about ANOTHER old man I met when I was working in Subang last december.
I can still remember that this happened before christmas ( in fact the incident occured during my first week of work in Subang)

To begin with, let me explain the duty of my job. I'm kinda like a person-in-charge of the contest in Subang Carrefour. SO all I do is create awareness that there's such a contest going on, and help participants to fill up their contest forms

So imagine this,
I approached the D.O.M without knowing it, telling him about the conditions to take part in the contest. Since a conversation had already began, the D.O.M used it to his advantage and asked questions like

'Ur working part-time ah?'
'Do you have any off-days?'
'No? So you're spending ur Christmas working?'
'So pityful. Dont worry, I'll come visit you and bring u out..'

I was like err...@.@
'how do I get rid of this annoying man..'

Thankfully, someone wanted to take part and wanted a form. So I quickly closed all conversations with the D.O.M without saying bye bye (kinda like how u close down the msn conversation tab when u meet an annoying person)

Lucky for me, the D.O.M left the scene and never came back to visit me on Christmas.
Hahaha...

Back to the title of my post,

When was the last time u rode a bicycle?"
For me, the last time I rode mine must have been more than 6 months ago. In fact it could have been more than a year!
The reason why I mention this is because I was spending this 2 days finishing the anime called Honey And Clover

Its a really nice and simple anime about love n life.
And as I completed the whole anime, I came to a realisation that life is very plain. The only things that really happens in our daily life are limited to :-

1.studies/work
2. family
3. friends
4. love

And yet, there are times when we'll feel empty even though we have all 4 aspects above.

Why?

I think its purely because there's a 5th aspect to life which differs according to individuals. It something that I believe everyone has to find out for themselves.
Some find it through religion and god, others...
others like me jz waste time living life as it is.

And in the anime, this search for the answer is equated as a ride on a bicycle,
to see how far we can go without turning our backs.

Also, there is this episode about letting go.

In this case, its about letting go of an unrequited love.

A broken heart is kinda like a flowering plant which stem is half-broken. Initially the leaves and flowers on the upper part are still green and nice.
BUT, if u do not break off the upper part, the whole plant would wither because of its own weight. If the plant had been broken of at the point of injury, it would have continued to grow and bloom.
In love it is the same, if we have been hurt, had our hearts broken, there's no point in holding on for too long. If you do, you might end up like the plant. At least that's what I believe in.

But, love isnt that simple is it?
Oh well, life isnt simple. Its rather complicated.

the longest break

More than 1 month of not blogging! That has gotta be my longest duration of not blogging, EVER!

Over the past month and a half, I went through lots of things!
I met many many different people and forged new friendships.
The happenings in my life during this period has lead from one change to another, and I think that I'm constantly changing; personality-wise, mentally and a bit of physical changes (no..its not a boob job, but I think I lost some weight while I was working the last month^^ )

1. I broke up with my bf
.

This is the major change in my life. More than 3 months ago I was in love with someone. I shared and cared for him. I would say that I have had given my best to make him happy when he was still in Msia. I was a really good gf. (I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating about how good I am to my ex, but my close friends back in college would know the truth behind this statement. I think only they saw how good I was to him and all of them had intially thought I was being too nice, but now that I hv broken up with him, I think they were reather shocked.
None of them saw this coming, neither did my ex.
I know I'm an evil being who jz left a good man devasted in a cold land hundreds of miles away from Msia. But there's nothing that I can do to change the fact. I've already made up my mind and I shall remain adamant on being ONLY friends with my ex.
This change has brought upon concerns and advices from not only my family, but also my friends.

Back when I had initially broken up with him I was a complete mess, not bcoz I couldn't let go of him or anything like that, its jz that somehow I kinda got lectures from my parents all the time.
The reason I got lectured was bcoz I was being chased by another guy whom they deem is unfit and un-matched for me..i.e someone who is jz UN-everything to me.
But being borned under a sagittarian star makes me stubborn, and so i insisted in seeing the guy. This lead to a big hoo-ha in my family and all. Every night after work they would lecture me, talk me out into being too 'close' with him.
It was a whole mess. I'm telling you, back then my mind was never at ease. I was always under stress, thinking of solutions.. and to add on to the whole stress, my ex couldnt let me go.. I was mentally drained back then..

Thankfully now that I've finished working I have more time to myself; time alone to think about what has happened to me, time to analyse and think through the who I have becomed and also time for me to blog out my feellings.

Anyways, I got a new laptop which hopefully will serve me well^^
So this indirectly means more time for me to surf the net!!

Rotten luck

Right now, I am an extremely angry woman. I've got nothing but complaints and curses in my mind.

My streak of not-so-good luck began yesterday when I was on my way down to KL central on the ktm. I've been taking the ktm for maybe a hundred over times and yet it was the very first time I had befallen such horrendous luck.

Now, being alone on the train is a sad thing, but with the company of a book it's still bearable. And that was exactly what I did; I read a motivational book by Stephen Covey. As I was quietly reading, a bunch of college students got in at the Subang Jaya station. I presume that they are from Taylors college bcoz they were making loads of ruckus.

Being a good mannered girl*ahem* I seldom eavesdrop ppls' conversation. BUT, when the conversation is interesting, I can't help but to listen. The bunch of students are actually 3 girls n 1 guy, whose name is Max. *yea..I know his name without even opening my mouth*

Max is this guy who jz can't close his mouth, when his friends phone rang to the tune of Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway, he started singing the song -_-''

As if that isn't enough to distract me, his other friend said this,
'Hey Max, why u so 'ham sap'? Dont touch ....'s ass! You should never touch a girls' ass.'

Well, enough said. I think both u and I get the picture.

Anyways, at the very next station after Max boarded the train, the train stopped moving. It was stationary for alomst 10-15 mins without any air-condition. The only source of air we can get is the occasional hissing of the train's engine. And every single time the hissing comes, the girls would tease Max by saying,
'Max, I knew u farted! No wonder it stinks in here!'

Err...even Stephen Covey's advice on patience is useless to me. I was literally a sweating girl as I kept the book in my bag as everyone in the cabin moved all the way to the front of the train to free ourselves from the friggin' train.

When I reached the front I asked the driver, 'Rosak ke?'

'ya'

Well, that explains all. Our msian ktm is obsolete! I mean like, shouldnt the train have a back-up generator to at least open the side doors when the train breaksdown?

There isnt even an announcement inside the train! We were all sitting like idiots inside a metal box under the hot sun!

The announcement that came next was from the station itself, and it asked everyone heading to KL to move on to the opposite platform to catch the next train! Imagine, everyone inside the train filling up the entire platform! There the amount of ppl in a single train waiting...it was packed!

AS if that isnt bad enough, the next train which came was already 75% occupied!

Yet, the instinct to board the very next train kicked in, and everyone was soon squeezing n pushing. Inside the train, ppl were stacked up next to each other like tinned sardines -_-''

In KL central, I met another problem regarding the Msian public transportation again! This time its the Putra LRT. Since the queue are usually long, I prepared the exact amount of rm1.60 and used the manual ticketing machine. Guess what?

Out of the 6 high-tech looking machines available, only ONE was functioning! The one I used kept vomitting out the coins I slotted in! Pissed off, I had to queue up to get a ticket and the pace was ridiculously slow! There were two ppl inside the counter but only the girl was giving out tickets while the guy was 'busy' counting money!

I was baffled at his stupidity! Can't he see the queue? Cant he see that his colleague is tired? Didn't he even notice that the machines weren't functioning?

Oh well, I guess not. After all he is SO busy counting money and is too friggin' blind to notice anything!

THAT was yesterday, and todays' problem is regarding the telco services!

Being a loyal customer of Hotlink, I expect the services to be better. Today, all my expectations were dashed. (Yup, I am loyal. Everyone's changing to Digi yet i'm still with Hotlink and I always top up my credit on time and lately I've been using mroe than rm60 a month! Which has never happened to me in the past)

Every 15mins before I reach the ktm station nearest to my house, I would call my brothers or parents to pick me up. Yet today, the network was down!

Imagine my horror! I tried calling over n over again! I even took out the sim card to check! BUT nothing worked.

So, I had to walk to the nearest telephone booth to make the call. It was only a few metres away, but I ended up walking more than 400metres, under the blazing hot noon sun, to finally get a phone that is functioning!

I passed mayb 3-4 booths yet ALL of them were dilapitated! Blame it on vandelism, but I think the government should be doing better! Shouldn't they at least come around n replace the spoilt ones every month?

Anyways, after I called my brother from the public phone, I asked him to pick me up from the stall which I decided to have my lunch while waiting for them to come and also for me to cool down after the burning hot long walk.

I called him at 12.15pm and guess what time he arrived?

Wait! He didnt even arrive!!

After around 40 mins of waiting(and also finishing my lunch) I called him again around 1pm and he said he'll come soon. So I went back to the same stall after paying for my meal and had another drink. After waiting for another 30mins or so, he still isnt around!

I was extremely pissed off! The restaurant is less than 15mns from my house yet I had to wait for him for more than an hour!

So, I decided to walk back home, under the hot sun again!

After walking around 200metres or so, he somehow spotted me and picked me up at 1.40pm. Amazing...I was this close to killing him with my bare hands! And when I asked him why did he take so long, he casually said he went back sleeping after my receiving my 1st call!

What the f***! I'm suffering alone while he sleeps like a pig!!

Yup, I am a naturally angry woman; When the conditions around me turn sour, I won't turn sour...I would have already rotted instead!! My patience thins, and my angry grows especially when I'm hungry and when the sun shines TOO bright.

The Pink Squid + Brown-haired girl

I finally got my darn hair coloured! At first the junior-stylist(or the more accurate term is a 3rd month hairstylist student) wanted to colour my hair a rich dark brown to make my hair look 'healthy'.

Yes u read correctly, she said healthy. Which indirectly means my hair is currently in an unacceptable condition; dry and messy and BAD, or in other words it LOOKS n FEEL like those weeds or 'lalang' in our fields.

However, I wanted to colour it brown and since the customer is ALWAYS right, she obliged. Thus, her words came true n my hair ended up looking more lalang-like than ever. Sheesh -_-''

Okay, maybe I exaggerate a little too often. Honestly my hair doesnt look 'that' bad; at least that's what my friends told me. But, the one true fact is that I seriously need to get my hair treated. And from the pic, u can tell my fringe looks weird.
The obvious answer is because I am jz too lazy to style it.

That's why once Chinese New Year is over, I'll definately chop off the whole permed section. Natural hair is by far the best! I can comb it, tie it and most importantly, NOT put so much effort in styling it. Hhahaha XD

After I got my hair coloured, my friends, Ah Li ,Ah Hui and I ended up in RedBox to sing our hearts out! Its been months since my last karaoke session and so after 3 hours of singing I lost half of my voice.*sobs*
And my singing to me is actually:

Singing = Off-pitch screaming + Humming off tune

To make matters worse, I usually sing wrongly bcoz I cant read chinese characters -_-'' *sigh*

Halfway through, Ning n Ben came n joined the fun =) Which there after was followed by dinner at MCD. Hahhaha... Of course, dinner at a fastfood outlet is nothing compared to the scrumptious meal Ning, Ben, Ah Li and I had in Tomy Roma's exactly a week ago in the exact same mall.

^grilled chicken^

^mahi mahi fillet^

^even the drinks look good^

Well, the sad thing is right after I took the pic of my drink, I broke the glass and caused one of the waitress to cut her hand while picking up the pieces. BUT, since I was the birthday girl on that day, I guess all is forgiven. Kekeke^^ but I do feel a bit guilty about it...

One mroe thing, I got this super cute pinky squid from my friends as my birthday present! Hehehe^^

^sotong^

Now, ain't she cute?

Since it's a squid, I'll name her Sotong The Pinky Squid! Sounds like a name of a character in some Disney animation huh? LoL^^

I'm rotting away..

I can't believe the amount of time I spent in front of the darn tv and computer today!

My life - working/studying - friends - family/bf = No life

Every single time I stop working or have a break, the same old thing repeats itself.I'm left all alone at home like an idiot; another meaningless day spent eating chips while having my anime marathon.

For instance, right after I blogged this morning, I couldn't find another thing to do. So, I ended up watching an anime since morning. My bros were out with the car, which practically means I have no means of getting out to get lunch. In the end, after scavanging around the house for food,

my lunch = instant mushroom soup + 2 small pkts of sesame gingko biscuit + 1 pkt of chips + 1 tin of Coke

Although i'm not a diet-freak or anything near it, I think everyone is more than aware of the amount of calories my lunch had. So there I was imagining the calories from each mouthful of chips i ate turning into undesirable fat layers in on my tummy. At that fateful moment, I somehow stumbled upon TV mart which co-incidently was screening some ad on the sauna belt!

As I watched the same darn ad with the same hosts for nearly 5 mins, I lost count on the number of times they guaranteed the belt will help u lose at least 1 inch after 15 mins only. It was so so tempting but...their guarantee sounds..fake @.@

Its always like that, when someone is trying to get my trust, the moment he says these words for the 2nd time in the same conversation, the trust shatters.

Oh well, now after dinner, I'm still stuck in front of the comp, yet again, blogging. Anyways, jz now as I chatted with a friend, we somehow stumbled upon a topic regarding a guys' loo. So he asked me watch this video which I find ridiculous. If anyone has time to kill, they definately have to watch this( btw, I HIGHLY recommend this to girls who wanna find out more about how a guys' loo is) [Click Here]

Anyways, do not worry, this video contains no nudity what-so-ever, after all, I AM an innocent young thing! lol... however be warned that its a little long (around 10mins) so it might take a little time to upload depending on ur connection. So enjoy =)

Happenings..

Yet again it took me so so super-duper long to post something up.

Its not that i'm lazy or anything, its jz that i get too preoccupied by other happenings in my life I jz couldnt find the time; or I jz couldn't care less about finding a time to update. Sheesh..so there's my oh-so-honest confessions on what's been going on.

Anyways, back to reality, 'many' things happened.

1. I'm no longer a stalker.
Why? cause the agency which gave me the job couldnt extend the darn contract. Which is guess was probably due to the fact that part-timers from agencies, like me, are break-lovers, which means we work less than the stipulated time in the contract. Oh well, at least during my time there I met loads of interesting ppl^^

2. I'm jobless (on weekdays) again.
On the last day of my job, the thought of me being jobless again didnt realy cross my mind. The only thing that was running was proabably the estacy of knowning I neednt go back n make calls the next day. And also the fact that my frens and I were madly snapping pictures in every single place which we think would look nice on print-_-'' and one of those places include the lift. Luckily this was ended by out stern newly appointted supervisor.

3.I'm NO longer a teen!!
Yup, I'm officially no longer a 19 year old! Sheesh..makes me feel sad yet happy at the same time.
Sad because I'm no longer a teenager. At least when i was nineTEEN, i still had the word 'teen' in my age. But now? I only see the big TWO.
However, I am happy too. At least when ppl guess my age as 20++ now, it wouldn't hurt my self esteem that much anymore because its partly true! Hahaha^^

4. Did I mention that I permed my hair?
I paid money to make my hair look like it got burnt; at least that's what one of my fren said to me-_-'' Anyways, most of the comment arent really nice. Not a single one told me this line, "It looks GREAT!" To make matters worse they say my previous hairdo is much better. Sheesh...So, I had to console myself that its all because my hair isnt coloured and that a permed hair must always go with colour if not i'll look plain n ugly. And jz because of that thought, I have had this urge to colour my hair more than anything. (but of course the price has to be within my budget, which unfortunately I dare not mention in my blog for fears that ppl might laugh their guts out after knowning my absurdly low budget...)

* I had wanted to post up pics of my permed hair together with pics which i took with my colleagues in PJ but I'm jz to lazy to do so. HahahaXD

I'm a 'stalker'

Ever since I quit Osim, I was left feeling empty and useless on weekdays. Thankfully that didnt last long because on the very 3rd day of my "unemployment", I received a call asking me whether I was free for a job on weekdays! I was absolutely excited about it and didn't give much thought about the pay. Directly after the call, I went all the way to K.L to sign my contract.

On the very next day, I was already on my 1st day of work!
Guess what my current job is?
Its something like a stalker's job.

But instead of following ppl around, I call ppl and bug them to complete a survey which takes up to 1 hour!! And because of that, I've got hung up a zillion times!*LoL*

And so, I'm currently working EVERY single day of the week. However, it's definately much better than the times when I was with Osim. Because at least I get to meet more friends, and somehow life always blessed me with whacky and 'sampat' friends who make my working life entertaining.

Imagine the extent of our 'whackiness' when we sang the soundtrack of Fast n Furious by Teriyaki Boyz out loud, in the middle of a room, while nodding our heads like idiots. ^^

Not only that, I've met a few 'perverted' friends, whose mind is either as blue as the bluest blue or as yellow as the dahl curry we get from mamak stalls. Yup, that's how polluted their minds can get -_-''
One of them even looks like the guy with the mask in Vendetta! He looks even more like that mask when he shows his perverted face!! Imagine those pale white face with slits for eyes, and an extremely wicked smile, plastered on a skinny guy. Funny aint it?

Anyways, I hope that my bf has luck like mine in making new frens. I really hope that he's doing fine. Miss him lots.

Bye bye osim..

Every beginning has an end, and last Friday was my last day with Osim.

I had already came up with that decision since I was informed about the "permanency" job under Nestle as a promoter or trialing specialist.
Why?

Ka-Ching~
$$$$$
Money factor.
What other reasons can there be, right? >.<

Wait, there are other reasons too;
I don't have enough time for myself.
eg. No time to watch anime
no time to blog.
no time to play o2jam.
no time to laze around the house.
no time to even go online at home.
sigh..

Yup, I tend to find reasons to make myself look like the victim. And I have been convincing myself that the main reason for my resignation is ALL about the long working hours. NOT about the money, talk about self-denial -_-"

Anyways, my initial plans of getting a 5-day office job seems to have gone down the drain. Mainly cause I can't seem to get my butt moving; its stuck either on a couch or on the bed.

Looks like all the u-zapping i did in the previous month means nothing. And soon, i'll b the one buying a u-zap. That is if I manage to get the money to buy one.

IMU.. take 2

I finally got my acceptance letter from IMU!
It happened a couple of days back when I was at work; away from home.
Out of the blue, a friend called me and asked me whether I received the acceptance letter.
I was like, "What accpetance letter?"

The one from IMU.

"Huh? I havent got it worr.."

U havent received it? IMU is asking us to pay up RM16k by end of this month!

"HUH? How come?"

I don't know..U havent got the letter right?

"Yea"

Nvm then, i'll ask the others. Bye.

Actually, the conversation was much longer than this. But that jz about sums it up. Haha^^
After the call, I was wondering whether I got the letter.

I consoled myself saying that I did well during the interview so there's no way I screwed up, right?

Then a text message came in from another friend, saying,
" hey, i got the acceptance letter already! Have u got urs?"

Bummer! Where's my letter? How come my parents didnt call me?
And that's about the ONLY two questions I had in mind. After awhile, I forgotten about the whole IMU thingy till I went home.

From the very moment my mum came and pick me up, she was already blabbing non-stop about the IMU letter and that I should send it in real soon.
Till today, the nagging continues.

Anyways, what I have learnt about the proper method of solving the IMU acceptance letter is as follows:

1. Get an AFFIDAVIT from JPA. How?
--> call them and tell them u need an affidavit. If the JPA number can't the accessed u can try to numbers in this page[JPA Contact Numbers]

2. Send in the affidavit and the other forms back to IMU, along with a payment of RM690 to IMU.

3. Finish. LOL.

Sounds simple, but in reality getting the affidavit is a real pain in the a$$.
I called in, and the lady asked me to send in a copy of my acceptance letter by IMU and then they'll send back the affidavit to me.

Ya..that's what she told me to do. (either that or misunderstood what she meant)
Hopefully everything will turn out fine. If not....
My mum's hair might jz turn white overnight! LOL^^

Anime-marathon!!!

It feels like a long long time since I had the time to blog. I'm practically held up with my job most of the time; getting one off-day per week is jz pathetic.

And my off days are ALL spent at home; cleaning my house ie sweeping and mopping the floor, and let's not forget that I wash the loo. -_-" After all that 'hard' work, I'll be catching up with a few episodes of anime which I missed out through the week.

Thankfully this week I got 2 days off!! Hehe^^
So.. I finally opened an EPF account!! (its an account with no money though..)

Anyways, I realised that since I worked in osim, I seldom had time for myself. I couldnt find time to go out with my friends for a drink or two. I cant watch anime late at night cause I need 8 hours of sleep. I'm practically like a zombie whose daily routine is

Sleep --> Eat --> Work --> Sleep

I wish I could get a better life than that. But then, reality bites.
If I do not work, my life wouldn't be much different.

Sleep --> Eat --> Watch anime --> Sleep

AND, that's exactly what I do during my off days!
On yesterday itself, I finished an entire anime series! All 24 episodes of it!! In A DAY! Not to mention I watched another 3 episodes of another anime too!

That's not all! Today I watched another series and wanted to finish the whole thing!! BUT..the dvd palyer has reached its limit. The video started to lag and so...I had to give up on it.

Well, while watching the anime, many issues sparked in my mind. For example, life.

I think about 'life' every now and then. I think about why we humans have thoughts; Thoughts that are only heard by ourselves and no one else.
Why do we have it?
What is the purpose of life itself?
Are there ppl out there who share the same thoughts as ourselves?

I think of the future which we still cannot determine jz yet.
What will become of us 10 years from now?
Will the place we live in be the same?
Will the ppl we now know remain the same?
And more importantly,
will we ourselves change?
How will our life be?
How will we pass away?
Will there be a next life?

As I have these thoughts in my head,
I wonder what do other ppl in this world have in their minds?

As I write this words,
my bros are studying for their exams,
my parents are reading the newspapers,
my bf is most likely busy in class,
my colleague is still serving customers,
my neighbours are watching some tv series,
someone out there might be travelling,
someone might be dying,
someone might be giving birth,
someone might be undergoing a life-saving operation,
someone somewhere in this world might be killing herself.

And by the time I finish writing this, hopefully someone will read it and share my thoughts at this moment. Which by then I might be watching anime again..lol

Although I have decided to let life take its course, but will always be times when my mind wonder into such thoughts.

Working is not easy..

It's now officially my 1st week of work!!!
Guess what?
I finally broke my record of ZERO sales for 5 days!!!
With the help of my senior colleague in the closing part, I sold an i-Squeez on Sun!!
And yesterday I sold a Noro Comfy!!

Yippie!! I finally made sales^^
BUT, both sales do not have commission! *sobs*

Actually I had wanted to quit my job yesterday, because on Sunday the area supervisor came to my outlet and said I was 'playing' with the ppl in the next store. Which unfortunately is true -_-''

So, when it was 10.30pm, he refused to let me go back, and asked me to serve another customer and make another sales...

I was like what?? o.0
But since he is the 'big' guy I obeyed. However, as I waited outside for customers, it dawned on me that I am NOT paid for overtime!

So, when my mum called me (she usually comes on time to pick me up) I went back and said I had to leave. And he said ok, which was when he told me he was not so impressed with what he saw earlier this evening, ie the incident where I chatted awhile with the lady next door.

There and then, I felt choked and soon I was crying.

Ya, I cried in front of him and my senior. How embarassing..And I dont even know WHY I cried.

Anyways, I must hv gone cuckoo that moment, coz as I was choked with my own tears, I asked him, ' Are we paid OT?'

'No.'

'So, i think u do not hv the right to ask me to stay back for OT.'

'I think u misunderstood. I was jz discussing with ur senior that you all can come in for work later if u all opened the shop till 11pm. Bla, bla..'

By then I had lost all sense as one of my contact lens fell off.

'i think u should go back and rest..'

And off I went.

Now that I think of it, the whole thing was purely my fault; bcoz I cried. All bcoz of such a small matter-_-''

Needless to say, that incident ended up a laughing stock among my senior and his pals from the shop next door..Haih..

I think I'm gonna stay around in Osim a little longer and see how the outcome is. If I ever cry again bcoz of the job, I'll seriously quit!
(or maybe not =P)

Happy U-Zapping

Yet again, it took me so long to blog.
Anyways, many things happened since then.

1. My bf spent a week with me before flying off to czech republic.
So now I'm left alone...(i'm trying so sound pityful here to gain some attention..kekeke)
Actually its not as bad as I imagined it would be.

Why?

Basically its bcoz send sms to him only costs me RM0.20 which is like so-so cheap, considering that an sms from a 012 to a 016 number costs rm0.15!!!
Then a friend of mine told me that calls to czech costs quite cheap too. Being the innocent me, I called to my bf and chatted for only a 1min and 21 secs. Guess how much that cost?

RM3.59!!!

Gyaahh!!! So So expensive! That itself is like 18 sms!!! Oh well, at least now I know that overseas call from a cellphone is a BIG no-no.

2. I am currently working at Osim, Tesco.
On the very next day of my bf's departure, I started my 1st day of my 3rd job (since my A-levels that is)
The job is rather simple, the main responsiblity is :
Sell baby, SELL!!!

Yup, sales.

Thankfully the supervisor at my outlet is a very laid-back person. He doesnt push me for sales. In fact, he is a little too laid back. He's practically out of the shop most of the time; he is either at the mobile phone shop next door chatting with his pals or he's somewhere smoking away OR he's out for a break with his pals.

On my 1st two days at work, I never made a single sale and neither did my supervisor. -_-"

Oh well, as long as I get paid and not get fired. I'm more than happy =)
(i get to use their massage chairS for free. I even get to ride the i-gallop!!
And best of all, like my friend say, I'm happy U-zapping!!

Zap those fatty layer baby!!!

Sample Questions for the IMU interview

Now that I've finally got over my IMU interview at Bkt Jalil on Tues, let me share with you some of the possible questions that are most likely to be recycled, or reused.

1. Tell me something about yourself.

2. Why did you choose to do a course in Pharmacy?

3. What qualities do you have to make a good pharmacist?

4. Why do you choose IMU to do this course?

5. What have you found out about the course you want to take?
(we JPA scholars are going to do M Pharm or Masters in Pharmacy, NOT B.Pharm)

6. Solution to given situation(s)
[ The one I got was pretending that I was a rich man on a journey to an important event. On the journey I saw an accident where there is a seriously injured person. What would I do? ]

7. Creative question
[ I didnt get this one, but previously this question is rather popular]
eg, Give 10 uses of an item (example, hairpin, a bundle of keys, pencil, etc)

I think that is all about the questions.

Duration of the interview is around 20-30 mins.
There'll be two interviewers present.
Dressing code: formal wear (skirts above knee length is acceptable)

In case there are those who want more information on our pharmacy course, do visit
[IMU]'s main page.

To be honest, I think as long as we get the interview, we are all confirmed a place in IMU. So..Don't worry about it =)
To my friends who havent go for the interview,
All the best!

IMU Interview!!!

Gyaah!! I'm finally gonna get my IMU interview!! (it took my A-Level Program Head, Pn R, such a long time to send in my IMU application form along with my other friends one too. I had passed mine to her like mayb 2/3 weeks ago, and they were only sent in to IMU LAST friday, talk about procrastination-_-")

Anyways, Miss A called me jz now and asked me when to schedule my interview because I had selected the earlier weeks of Sept( which co-incidently have ALL passedby..so I guess that took Pn R ONE month to send in the forms..)

Well, I guess I'll jz have to get my certificates and my formal attire ready because my interview is due for TMR!! Yup, the scary interview where the interviewers ask you to name 10 usage of an object, and expect u to know how to answer them within a few minutes..*sigh* Now i'm getting paranoid..I'm wondering what to questions I'll get and how do I answer them. Eg..

Q:Why do U want to take a course in Pharmacy?
A: Err...cause I think its the one course that appeals to me other than medicine. (Honestly, I think its because you can get big bucks jz dispensing medication to ppl)

Q:Can you name me some medication you know of and their usage?
A: I know Panadol is for headaches and all. There's also cough syrup and all.(Actually, I'm clueless...I think paracetamol is the only one i know of..)

What else can they ask huh? I dunno..I guess I'll know it tmr..
